ओसामा बिन लादेन सम्बन्धी पाकिस्तान का न्यायिक आयोग

वह मई, 2011 की शुरुआत थी जब सील टीम सिक्स (SEAL TEAM SIX) के रेड स्क्वाड्रन के चुनींदा 24 जवानों ने पाकिस्तान के एबटावाद स्थित ठिकाने पर धावा बोला था जहां अनेक वर्षों से ओसामा बिन लादेन छुपा हुआ था।   उपरोक्त घटना को, पाकिस्तान में सन् 1971, जब न केवल पाकिस्तान को प्रमुख युध्द में औपचारिक रुप से पराजय झेलनी पड़ी अपितु पाकिस्तान के विघटन से एक नए स्वतंत्र देश-बंगलादेश का भी जन्म हुआ था-के बाद सर्वाधिक बुरे राष्ट्रीय अपमान के रुप में वर्णित किया गया।   अमेरिकी सैनिकों द्वारा ओबामा को मारे जाने के बाद पाकिस्तान सरकार ने सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के वरिष्ठतम जज न्यायमूर्ति जावेद इकबाल की अध्यक्षता में एक चार सदस्यीय जांच आयोग गठित किया। अन्य तीन सदस्यों में अशरफ जहांगीर काजी भी शामिल थे जो कुछ वर्ष पूर्व नई दिल्ली में पाकिस्तानी उच्चायुक्त थे।   आयोग ने 336 पृष्ठों वाली अपनी रिपोर्ट पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री को … Continue reading ओसामा बिन लादेन सम्बन्धी पाकिस्तान का न्यायिक आयोग

On July 6, the country observed Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerji’s Birth Anniversary.   That evening I released a book at the National Museum Auditorium titled “Jammu-Kashmir ki Ankahi Kahani.” The author of the book is Dr. Kuldeep Chand Agnihotri.   Tens of thousands of party activists like me justifiably feel proud that we belong to a party whose first national movement was for the cause of national unity, and that the founder-president of our Party laid down his life at the altar of National Integration. But not many may be aware that the struggle we waged all over India had been initiated in Jammu-Kashmir itself even before the Jana Sangh was born in 1951. Today is July 6, the Birth Anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, founder of our party, Bharatiya Jana Sangh, which now functions as Bharatiya Janata Party. This blog is due to be released tomorrow.   On June 23, I had recalled how at the first National Session of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh held at Kanpur in 1952, Dr. Mookerjee had inspired Jana Sangh delegates from all parts of the country with his call for the complete integration of Jammu and Kashmir State with India. Why should this State’s situation be different from that of the other 563 princely states which had agreed to become fully integrated parts of independent India.   That Jana Sangh session decided to launch a movement against the permit system introduced by the J&K State Government.
