Electioneering: From Handbill to the Internet
Welcome, friends, to my blog. My young colleagues who have created this website told me that a political portal without a blog is like a letter without a signature. I quickly accepted this compelling logic.
I am excited by the idea of using the Internet as a platform for political communication and, especially, for election campaign. As someone who has had the good fortune of participating, either as a campaigner or as a candidate, in every single general election in India since the first one held in 1952, I have seen how the tools of communication have evolved. As far communication is concerned, I am technology-agnostic. My philosophy in this matter is simple: anything that works, deserves to be welcomed. In my own political life spanning six decades, I have enthusiastically embraced every new communication technology - from the early simple Casio digital diary to i-pod and i-phone.
In the first general election, when as a 25-year-old political activist I campaigned in Rajasthan for the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, which had been founded in the previous year by Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee, even printing a rudimentary handbill was a novelty. Let me recount an interesting incident here. My party had entrusted me with the responsibility of managing the campaign in Kotputli. After studying the problems of the region, I prepared some literature explaining how the Jana Sangh would try to solve these problems if the people elected our candidate. I had also brought copies of the party’s manifesto for Rajasthan.
I reached the constituency about a month before the polling and resolved to remain there until the elections were over. As I began unloading the poll literature that I had brought from Jaipur, I saw our candidate standing at a distance and watching me bemusedly. I was half his age at the time, but he addressed me very respectfully and said, “Advaniji, would you like me and my workers to distribute this literature in the constituency? But where is the need for it? This manifesto and these pamphlets are totally useless in our election strategy. We would have to spend a lot of time and energy in distributing them. If you insist, we will do it. But that will not fetch us even a single additional vote.”
He then added: “Let me tell you one thing, Advaniji. No one can defeat me in this election. This is a predominantly Gujar constituency. And I am the only Gujar in the contest.” His next statement opened my eyes even further regarding the reality of elections in India. “Firstly, every single Gujar who goes to the polling booth is going to vote for me simply because I am a Gujar. Secondly, a majority of non-Gujars will also cast their votes for me because they know that in this constituency I am the most likely winner. They would not like to waste their vote by giving it to a losing candidate!”
For many years, almost until the end of the 1980s, newspapers, magazines and All India Radio were the only means of political communication. The print media, since the government did not own them, were free and could be depended upon to carry news and views about the non-Congress parties. However, since radio was government-controlled, the Congress used it brazenly for its political propaganda. I remember how, throughout the campaign in the 1982 Vidhan Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh, AIR did not mention the name of N.T. Rama Rao, who went on to win a thumping victory in the polls, even once. The first time people heard his name on AIR was when the Governor invited him to take the oath of office!
As Minister of Information & Broadcasting in the Janata Party government (1977-79), which was formed after the end of the draconian Emergency Rule of Smt. Indira Gandhi, I had to perform the onerous duty of dismantling the infrastructure as well as the mindset of misuse of the government-owned media for the partisan ends of the ruling party. One of my decisions, which made me particularly proud and which was widely welcomed, was to allow, for the first time since 1952, the Opposition parties to have time-slots on AIR to convey their message to the people on the eve of Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
The Internet has many attractive attributes, but the best perhaps is that it is owned neither by the government nor by any private media groups. It is open to all and in this sense it is the most democratic of all the communication platforms invented by mankind so far. Censorship of political communication on the Internet is both impossible and unthinkable - except in communist and other dictatorships.
Indian elections have come a long way since 1952. Indian voters, both collectively and individually, have become mature. Democratic consciousness and awareness about the power of the vote have grown immeasurably. No political party and no candidate can take the voter for granted. Voters judge an incumbent government by its performance and the contenders for power on the basis of what they stand for vis-à-vis their own expectations. In other words, the content of electoral communication carries far greater weightage today than when our candidate from Kotputli in Rajasthan advised me against the use of printed poll literature.
From printing handbills in small printing presses that used movable types - which has almost disappeared now - to writing a blog on my own website on the Internet, I too have come a long way in using technology for election communication.
Thank you for your spending your precious time reading my first blog. I promise to come back soon. Until then, best wishes.

Welcome advani ji.. Infact, i was one of the strong advocate of starting a blog in your site, and i sent a feedback also, insisting the site developers to start a blog.. and i am surprised to see the blogs soon in this..
I am very glad that you are adopting technology.. and i have one more suggestion to you regarding the technology.. i am sure, you would be aware of orkut.. it has revolutionised internet by enabling people to interact with one another, and also to add others as friends or fans..
We need not create a commercial social networking like that.. but i strongly suggest, that we create a social networking, atleast for the BJP supporters, who regularly use internet..
I am from one of the fairly remote village in tamilnadu. and even though it happened late, i want to convey you, that i have a broadband internet connection in my home.. so as my sisters and cousins, and other relatives.. This will give us an idea of how internet penetrated even the rural pocket.. we need not speak about the cities and towns..
So, i request you to bank heavily on internet based people networking, to enable people to come together and discuss various topics.. the forum in this site is doing a part of that work.. but its NOT usable in purpose, in terms of people interaction..
Let me suggest you some of the features that i propose for implementing either in your site, or in a separate site for BJP like bjpsupporters.org ..
1. Groups - for atleast each MLA constituency level, so that people joining your site from their respective locations, can be assigned to this group.. the local BJP unit may be connected to this group, and there can be better co-ordination with common people to the party unit..
This group will atleast contain forum, group blog and group mailing.. so that, people of same location can discuss, share ideas, communicate with each other, and do some field level projects in their constituency..
2. Wiki - to document the outcome of various discussions in the groups.. its information/ideas repository..
3. Images/videos
5. Most importantly, the community news section - where people can report news that they see from their locality..
6. Project management - To initiate social projects, and assign online community/people to it.. the project members would be regularly updating on the progress of the project they have undertaken.. the projects can be mapped to the constituency group, as described in point-1
I dont know how feasible it is for you or your website team to do that.. But once done, there cannot be any other better medium for BJP to reach the common people..
Further extending, the local BJP unit, can physically organise meeting of the online community, and work with the people..
I am s/w guy and may be able to contribute, if such project is undertaken..

Nice initiative!
January 8th, 2009 at 6:23 am
I am happy to be the first respondent of your first blog. I have been regular visitor to this new initiative by BJP and it gives me a sense that its an honest effort to connect with the youth of the nation. This is indeed inspiring for us to know that even at this age you can adapt to new technologies with such an ease.
I firmly believe that you should get a chance to lead our nation. I wish you all the best for elections for future.

Adarniya Advaniji,
As an Indian living abroad and deeply concerned about the happenings in India, I found it very frustrating to communicate my angst or meaning solution that plague our country.
I hope this blog becomes a forum when the prime minster of India takes out an hour out of his schedule and go through some of the responses ,comments that generally get a miss when seen through the army of bureacrats.
Sir, I would want to list down a few things that need urgent attention when your government comes to power..
1. Internal security
a. Freedom of intelligence agencies from the clutches of political class - mostly state governments are incompetent(barring a few exceptions), corrupt to the core and deeply politicised.
b. Police refoms as per directions of the hon supreme court
c. Stop the appeasement and let police do their work
2. Infrastructre and economic development
a. Let us build a new India with roads connecting each village to the nearest town, bridges over rivers, modernise ports. I do understand that this will require massive funding but the money can be raised through Indian public ( floating a fund with some assured returns) and thus will bring accountability. let some private sector manage it.
b. Education as you have rightly mentioned
c. Urban transport - Urgent basis. Cities like Mumbai are pathetic to travel. It takes 2 hrs to travel 20 Km’s. Too much of time wasted. Metro rail, all lines together is the only answer.
d. NREG must be made stronger and closing down the loopholes and pilferages
e. Reforms in agriclutre alongwith Desiltation of rivers. We are loosing too much of rainwater because of river beds becoming shallow.
f. Power generation must be the topmost priority along with roads and ports.
3. External threats
a. Threat from China - we must build our infrastructure in NE and Laddakh. We must modernise our forces. Please please for god sake take the defense expenditure to atelast 3% of the GDP this year and slowly increase it to 4%. Chinese are the biggest threat and they have something common in their trait with Islamic radicals - yearning for central authority and they can shake hands anytime in future as long as radicals stay away from China.
We must take up the issue of diversion of brahmaputra water with them. This will lead to destruction of entire assam and NE agri economy. This is war by another name.
b. Threat from Islamic fundamentalists - Specially pakistan. We must reactivate our Raw assets in Pakistan and tie down ‘Terrorist state of Pakistan’ in their own mess. Pathans have been done great injustice by the durand line and this is the root cause of Afghanistan/Taliban insurgency. To deflect Pathan energies from Pashtoonkhwa they have been diverted to kashmir for long.
c. Bangladeshi influx - Our last NDA govt took a very lenient view of the BSF killing fiasco. We must not do that again and carry abig stick for these jokers.
d. Build ties with Nepalese people and neutralise Maoists.
Last but not the least we must stop this converisons happening in the country. Even Gandhiji has spoken so much against them. They create social disharmony and we are fast loosing our way of life.
We must seriously look at scrapping article 370 asap.
Sir, I am sure these things everyone knows but I still want to put on paper so that the focus does not shift.
January 8th, 2009 at 3:50 pm
Sir
I hope you will be reading these comments yourself on the internet and not through any media that can be censored. The point of having a blog is to have a personal communication with your readers.
I was happy to read about your anecdote about the election in Kotputli. The sad situation is that despite your claim that Indian voters have matured, even today the majority voting is on caste lines. The tickets are awarded based on caste populations in constituencies. Even your party is not exempt from this. You also know that to win seats this is necessary. How can you justify elections based on castes rather than merit?
I hope you post your replies on these comments.
Regards
Vinayak

Advaniji,
Sadar Pranam! I am glad to see you adoption of new technology and new ideas which sends out an important symbolic message of change. I believe this medium will help our generation gain a better understanding of the viewpoints of the BJP and their nationalist agenda. Wish you the Very Best in the coming days as we are at the crux of a historical moment in India and are desperately seeking a strong and confident leader who can inspire us and lead us to a well deserved place at the high table of global leaders.
Warm Regards,
Abhijith Mukunda
January 8th, 2009 at 6:38 pm
Hi,
First of I like your site.. (it’s very good in Design and in content) but your policies are not good..
January 8th, 2009 at 6:45 pm
Late but in time. Advaniji, I wish you all the best. We in India need strong & principled leaders to face situations we encounter today. I must say people somehow get a negative picture of BJP, probably for its nationalist idealogies. BJP must ensure these negative vibes go away. This can be done through consistent message.
I also see starking difference between ruling & opposition parties (and I know it started during NDA rule when Congress was in opposition). However, BJP must come up strong and positive oppostition, something we are not able to see.
Problems are enormous, challenges too many. Still, India needs to stand tall. I wish you will show a new and positive path to India politics.
January 8th, 2009 at 7:11 pm
Dear Advaniji,
Namaste. Hope you are in good health and read this comment of mine. Sir, I was falsely educated in the Indian History which has been created and is being propagated by leftist historians. But now, I have come to know of a lot of things including the betrayal of Jawaharlal Nehru and MKGandhi wherein the partition of Bharat Mata was handed down to us as independence (eg: http://o3.indiatimes.com/palashbiswas/archive/2007/08/11/4761003.aspx)
Sir, every learned Hindu is awake and can clearly see the de-hinduisation and establishment of minority appeasing policies in India. The politicians have gone to the limit of disintegrating the armed forces. Only a pro-hindu government can revert all the evil because Hindu by definition is the most secular person/religion.
Do you by all your heart support pro-hindudva? I would like to read your thoughts/comments on this issue. I would also like to know why the country is not brought to a standstill when Ramsetu is being destroyed, when an imaginary hindu terrorism is being created, when afzal guru is not hanged and when Sadhvi Pragya is being molested?
Sir, I am a firm believer in Narendra Modi and hail from Garvi Gujarat. I would like to have your comments so that I can re-enforce my belief in you and the BJP.
Sincerely,
Naresh

Great intiative Advaniji. Going online(with website and blog) is a very good way to reach out to the youth of the nation if properly communicated.
As suggested by “Buildindia” you can think of having Orkut and facebook pages too, with a team monitoring the content. Fotos and videos can be uploaded regularly on them.
This blog can be used frequently to directly communicate to the biggest chunk of population, the youth.
My best wishes are with you!
January 8th, 2009 at 8:14 pm
Pranam Advaniji, I am from a city Rajahmundry, East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh and you reached us so fast (within 2 days of writing your blog) otherwise your message if it has to come to us through any other party medium or through the channels it will take its own time. The internet is one of the best medium for interaction and spreading the message in seconds across the globe. The effort to bring back the Akand Bharath vaibhav we have to utilise every opportunity that comes across.
As you rightly pointed out in your first blog it self(with or without intention of caste politics) the Hindu society is today divided because of castes and subcastes and its being used to drive the elections. Congress is capitalising on conversions and christian church politics. Government in Andhrapradesh is doing every kind of activity through churches and pastors such as distribution of leaflets in government organisations buscomplexes and railway stations.
Hope we strengthen ourselves and do the best for the nation in doing so.
Wish you all good in year 2009 personally and for BJP and not but not the least for our Nation.
Bharat Mata ki Ji.
Raghu bhushan eranki.

Respected Advanji,
Pranam,
Its nice to see Blog on your Website, I sincerely believe this will give you much needed inputs from well wishers ad critics of BJP at first instance.
I am follower of BJP since Birth and I can proudly say that my Heart Beats for BJP, but at time it bleads too, when I see many of our MLCs, MLA’s, M.P’s are ldon’t show their face after winning Elections, my sincere request to you is to push our representatives in Public and it must be made compulsary for them to attend various social functions of their area, because it helps a lot.
A good eg. to this affect is attitude of our Jaipur M.P. Sri Giridhari LaL Bhargava and to some extent our M.P. from Bareilly.
I have seen many good MLA’s biing the dust in elections just because they are not visisble or at times arrogant.
I would like to request you Not to tickets to all those in forthcomig Lok Sabha elections who are not having Good Public contact, deny tickets of all those who can not win, just the same way as was done in M.P.
Although I am small fry in ocean of BJp’s Intelligent Team, but I will keep on contributing as a unwelcome Guset.
Always at your and party’s service.
Best Regards,
Rajesh Khanna

Namasthe Shri Advaniji,
I am thrilled to see you blog. This is absolutely essential to get hands on technology and to have a easy contact with the best of the people who know you and the ones who want to know you. It is interestingly needed in the hour of the election to have your feel by the day. Talking of the elections we are pained to see the bye-election in tamil nadu.
The Chief election commissioner had told it all. we will wait for our time to answer.
In the days of peril and in the days of pain in this ancient land there have been some avatars to change the course of country. We look upon you for the change , it has happened in USA it is due in India, we are with you. Looking forward to seeing you more often in the blog. sail.blog.co.in

Namasthe Advaniji, I am very happy to see that you are reaching out to the middle class upwardly mobile people like me who want to participate in the re-building of our nation through your blog and website. While electioneering through individual contect is still the best, the internet cannot be ignored as a means to communicate to voters and encourage cadre. I have some suggestions to make
1. Currently Bharat needs leaders who lead by example. We are tired and disillusioned with people who do not walk the talk. If you make promises, please be sure to keep them.
2. There is no bigger downer than a leader come out with a statement that is ambiguous and meandering. We expect leaders to take a stand on important issues. I hope your blog will make your position clearn on various issues plaguing our janmabhoomi Bharat.
3. Return the country to the people. This is my country, my forefathers lived and died here, i will live and die in Bharat. Why is it that i am discriminated in my own country? Why can i not expect leaders who will do the task that i voted them for? Of course these rhetorical questions need no answering.
I wholeheartedly support the Integral Humanism of BJP. My entire family is with you and I look forward to BJP getting a absolute majority. I also wish to participate and contribute to the campaign in a way that is deemed fit.
please let me know in what way i can put my shoulder to the wheel.
January 8th, 2009 at 11:53 pm
dear Advaniji,
Congratulations to you and your team for adoption of INTERNET as an effcetive media so quickly and with STYLE.pLEASE PROVIDE exclusive interviews, comments and views to your blog.so that the blog is poplularised by the media itself.THis will send a message to the youth ab about the ADAPTABLITY OF BJP in the changing environment and also the effort of the BJP to connect to the YOUTH.finally our only objective till the elctions results are announced should be o win majority for NDA,IT IS DO OR DIE THIS TIME

Advaniji,
Namashkar!
Its a very innovative and younger-generation friendly idea of using the “NET” (short for internet among we youngsters).it not nly creates a direct contact with the electorate but also helps to give the personal touch and also a sense of participation in the election process to everyone who visits the blog and the site.one request from me is to post your message to the many first time voters like me.do take my request into consideration as and when possible.

Sir, i do believe that you will serve our country good, you will bring more development than congress…
but i will not vote for you ever because your party is fully responsible for killing of my countrymen, rape of women, and slaughtering of children in your personal agenda of hindutva… I am a Hindu myself but please dont kill people just because they are not… Muslims n Christians are good people too..
hope your attitude changes soon.
gud luck

Namashkar Sri Advani Ji,
Pai lagan, and a warm welcome.
In addition to buildindia’s comments, there is also a vital need for you and the BJP to facilitate a formulation of strong minded nationalistic Indians living overseas, especially in the UK.
The friends of BJP in the UK does exist, however ……
With warmest regards.

Internet is fast moving as the next big thing. I checked out the site but could not leave a contact message there so i thought ill drop a line on the blog.
Political communication through blogs has been a very old thing. I came across many American government blogs and thought to myself when will this wave catch up in India. I am glad it is.
January 9th, 2009 at 2:23 am
Namaskar advaniji
i really appreciate your move to start your blog, i would want a national leader to speak more often and hope that this goes beyond elections….. but for a start your education agenda is good on paper, in fact every politician has talked some good on paper little has happened, time to talk about how to implement it, have we calculated the cost of IT infrastructure, the cost of bringing power, the content creation, updating the outdated NCERT material………. answers needed, talking is easy sir………
HAIL INDIA…………..

advani jee ,
sadar pranam
i m glad to see u on blog n website.it is a good step taken by u and your web team.i m agree with buildindias suggestion…u must consider about being on orkut and other social site.it will help BJP campaign Definitely in a broad perspective.
sirjee…one thing i would like to mention here….INDIA need a leader who can take care of 54 crore of indian youth.if u will do this honestly….i m telling you from the indian youth side that no one will stop india in future….the thing to do only is plz fulfil all ur commitment like…
1.allow youth in politics….otherwise god knows about the future of india
2.same civil code for all Indian….don’t compromise with anything..
3.Replace cast based Reservation by Economic Based Reservation for all indian who is economically weak…
4.don’t allow corrupt, criminal and non graduate people in Politics…
5.Try to make possible finger print Based election in india with yes and no about all the candidate in the election.for example….if a single candidate get 3lac votes out of 10lac voters and other 7 lac votes get distributed among the rest candidate.so candidate with 3 lac votes will win …there is no value of 7 lac other voters.every candidate should have 10 lac votes and total yes out of 10 lacs should be the basis of winning…..
January 9th, 2009 at 10:00 am
Dear Mr. Advani,
Congratulations on your first blogging effort. Here’s wishing you make the best use of this medium of interactive communication. I hope you appreciate the fact that on a blog, the blogger obtains credibility by responding to some, if not all, of the comments.
You mentioned the anecdote about the Jan Sangh’s Gujar candidate in 1952. Why do you think this ‘reality’ has not changed at all in the past 56 years? As a politician, what is the level of responsibility you are willing to accept for the all encompassing evil of caste equations in electoral politics? As the PM candidate of the only right wing political formation in the country, how are you planning to ensure that the BJP does what is right?
January 9th, 2009 at 10:01 am
Namasthe Advanji
Its great pleasure to see your site . I like your sharp thoughts and discicion to make India the no:1 ,we the people with you .

Adarniye Advanj,
U r the role model in politics and we expect a lot from U in this regard.
Although your contribution in Indian politics and that too in BJP is immense but in present situation a lot is expected from your leadership. Moreso when leaders like Sh. shekawat is looking like a power hungry politician following the steps shown by Sh Khurana……
where r the value based politicians following the RSS principle gone ??
our only hope lies with U .
Please accept the challenge and declare Sh. Narendra Modi as the next PM in waiting and take the role of guide and mentor .
Do not allow other to taint U also as a power hungry politician waiting for becoming PM which u r not ……
Shubhkamna sahit,

Sri Advani,
Sadar pranam,
Great to see a senior personality like you interacting directly using internet. Internet is a great medium to reach out to people, but sadly, never has a BJP cadre visited my house, our street or colony in Bangalore except during elections. There should always be feet on the ground listening to citizens and addressing their local concerns. Elections should just be happy voters confirming their faith on the party.
When you take over as PM, Young India sincerely hopes you will modernize its lumbering, dysfunctional bureaucracy adopted from Britishers. Elitism should find no space in Hindustan. This country’s growth and development has been severely hampered by corrupt governance and vote-bank politics. Expectations will be very very very high when you and NDA are back in power at the centre. BJP’s support base among youth will not accept more of the same. This country needs reforms at the core, not just in economy. I sincerely pray that you should be the one to lead this change,
Wishing you, BJP and this country all the success in the future,
Vande Mataram
PS: To site maintainers - Contents of this site / blog posts should be available in Hindi and vernacular languages. Indians are largely comfortable using their mother tongue for communication, and messages on this site will have more impact if it is in their local language. It’s also easy for us to take print outs and distribute it to people who are not comfortable using English or internet.

My dear Sir,
I enjoyed reading your blog. I am a reluctant user of Internet.
My best wishes Sir for your contributions to Bharat. you have done yomen service already.
Thanking you,

Dear Mr. Advani,
Welcome online. I don’t always agree with BJP’s philosophy, but it is great to see you embracing blogs and forums to speak to young people in India. I hope that you will continue to use these tools. I also hope that your campaign team will actively engage with your readers, so that your blog and forum become a platform for meaningful debate instead of a one way communication channel.

January 9th, 2009 at 1:31 pm
Dear Advani Ji,
It is nice to see your blog opening up today. In today’s times BJP as a party needs to make an effort to be again be perceived as a party with a difference. Some of the negativity is due to possibly unfair media coverage. But, some of it is also due to actions in the form of harakiri by BJP and it’s own ideologues.
I believe that, the future of any Party lies in it’s ability to promote governance. If the results of assembly elections are any indicator, only faces, which have promoted development successfuly.
Perhaps, the BJP should come up with an economic agenda, which, can provide solutions to various problems faced by the Indian people. Specifically, I think, the BJP should work to provide an answer to the biggest problem faced by the Indian Middle class. The problem of affordable housing.
The answer to the above problem might give an answer to what actually affects the complete economy. Today, most Industries are stagnating, because, demand in real estate sector is absolutely low. Therefore, there is no demand for core industries like metals, cement etc. if a boom can be created ,using, low cost housing, I think, this can cascade economic growth in all sectors. This will provide a perfectly populist-cum-economic agenda for the coming elections.

Dear Advaniji,
Greetings on account of starting a dedicated personal blog site.
Regarding the article, it was a great starter, giving a glimpse of the way how you have seen the technology coming through in your life time for a person like me who’s in his early twenties now.
And, I would like to humbly remind that, the best way to leverage the maximum benifit out of this activity (blogging and internet forums) would be to organise and give value to all the viewers comments/suggestions, for I believe most of the people commenting out here are not only just passionate to see India becoming great once again, but are also thinking, educated and solution oriented young nationalistic Indians -who at least now have a chance to express their views directly to a person of your stature.
Thanks and Good luck !

Dear Mr Advani,
I do not know if you will be able to pay much attention to the responses you will receive to your bogs, especially when campaigning starts full swing.
But I hope you will be able to get the gist of the messages.
A majority of the people who will respond to your blog may be from abroad. And quite a few others will be from the IT field and working away from their homes. Due to this reason, though you may get their opinions, they may not be able to vote.
Their opinions may also be at variance with the people who will be voting- the less well off janta.
Therefore, … Though blogging will assume significance some time in the future, at present its effectiveness as a campaign tool as well as a medium to gauge voter opinion is limited.
As you well know, when campaigning starts full swing, you may cherish your resting time significantly.
All the same, I hope you will receive lots of constructive ideas through your interactions with your blog visitors. More importantly I hope that you will be able to implement lots of the positive ideas that you receive.
Wish you the best for victory in the coming elections
And wish you will be able to mobilise and inspire the voters to achieve that.

Dear Advaniji, Namaste,
I am truely moved by the commitment expressed by you towards the “quality education for every young Indian” I really appeciate the move andthoroughly understand how important education is for building a strong and vibrant India.
I do understand how difficult it is to implement these thoughts but never the less it is important for what I have seen in my own life. Thanks to my parents who ensured I get the necessary education. My best wishes for this endeavor.
Not until late I have taken interest to notice how good governance and vision can make a difference in the development of a country.
I have been using the national highway 4 between Bangalore and Tumkur ever since I could rremember, and I have noticed it taking different shapes. When Atalji started the “golden quadrilateral” project, which this piece of road is a part, I thought, my country is at last on the right track for development. I dream, every road of my country will be as smooth and fast is this one some day.
But, then came 2004, India shining campaign was made a controversy. Soon after the elections, there was gunny bag covering Atalji’s cut out refusing to identify him with development and give credit to the deserving and road work in Tumkur was stalled!!!
Five years gone by the road work in Tumkur, part of golden quadrilateral, is still stalled.
It hurts to see the political differences come to the road and stall development.
Advaniji, I have seen recently that you have expressed solidarity with the ruling government to protect our country from external threats and terror, Likewise, I trust you and your party will stay committed to all the developmental needs of this country, and all other parties too reciprocate your gesture regarding development.
I am proud of my country and love to live in a “developed India”
Jai Hind!

Respected Shri Advaniji,
You are an inspirational leader. Some would argue changed course of Indian history for the first time in last 1000 years ensuring majority actually enjoys power. We all welcome the most articulate, inspiring, communicator- LK Advani to the blogsphere. Its indeed historic.
I am sure your blog will become an agent for change which will make India strong, vibrant, true to its roots and find its due place under the Sun.
“Charaibati, charaibati (vikshugan), bahujan hitaye, bahujan sukhaye”- thus spoke Buddha at the Dharmachakra in Sarnath many milleniums ago. And what a forward movement it was - all across Asia.
We can only say: Charaibati, charaibati Advanji. May Maa Bhavani, Shivaji Maharaj, Guru Govind Singhji bless you and India.

You have taken a very potent step in starting this blog. If you can keep it up (easier said than done, specially in view of your busy schedule), you can make some good friends in the blogosphere and also help the techno-savvy people see your viewpoint more clearly.
Please don’t indulge in rhetoric - we want to get a peek in the workings of great minds like you and see our ‘mahaan’ nation truly rise over others by following the sound advice that you and other ‘truly’ great leaders, irrespective of the political parties, have to offer the young brigade.
May I suggest that you also start using Twitter for short updates on your schedule, upcoming developments and like. The blog can be reserved for insightful posts.
Best wishes!

Dear Advaniji,
Normally senior citizens are not computer savy.I am glad that at the ge of 81 you are computer savy and i am sure that you can reach youth of this nation who are future effectively.I am confident you are going to the next prime minister of our Country, i have few tips for you which i am sure implemented our country”s problems to large extent are mitidated.
The main causes for the problems faced by our country are corruption, unemployment and lack of transparency and accountability and total disregard for law of the land. The politics has spread its tentacles in all walks of life. As a result of which common man continues to suffer and rich and influential always get-away with whatever mistakes they commit. Indians basically lack patriotism. We show our patriotism only during cricket matches. I wish to suggest that the following steps should be addressed immediately to put our country on right track:
· Primary education up to High School level should be made compulsory and the state should fund the same
· Military training for the youth between the age group of 18 to 20 should be made mandatory.
· Amend the Prevention of Corruption Act and extend the same to both giver and taker. Impose highest punishment of life imprisonment for one who indulges in Corruption. The law should also extend to political parties, businessmen and non-government officials. if any individual possess assets disproportionate to the known sources of income, they should be booked under the Anti –corruption laws.
· Persons who indulge in destruction of public properties should be given highest punishment and the damage should be should be recovered from them.
· Government is the biggest litigant in the Courts today. All cases where the Government is a party should be resolved through mediation so that the valuable time of the Courts are saved
· Agricultural sector should be given importance since 70% of the population still lives in villages. Modernisation of Agriculture should be give the priority as it will automatically solve the unemployment problem and stops migration of rural folk to cities
· Transparency and accountability should be implemented in the administration today. Government servants and the politicians should be held responsible for their failure to implement and execute jobs assigned to them.
· River, mines and forests should be declared as national assets and the Central Government should take up all projects by themselves keeping the Country’s interest in the mind.
· Industries should be located solely on the basis of feasibility reports and should not be established to favour a politicians or influential people in the Government. · SEZs should never be establishment in prime and fertile agricultural lands.
· Health Care should be given priority. All Citizens should be
covered by Health Insurance.
· Blackmarketiers, bootleggers, Terrorists and people who wage war against the Country should be brought to justice by special laws and severe punishment should be imposed on them
· Religious activities should be basically confined to individuals and community.
· Any temple, mosque or churches are coming in the way of infrastructure and development or illegally built should be mercilessly razed to the ground
· Elections should not be show of money power. Non politician or the political party should spend money for the elections. State should spend money only for holding elections. If political parties spend money for the elections, government should impose expenditure tax

I went through the comments in addition to the two blog posts. It is obvious Sri Advaniji will not have the time to read through the comments. But I hope that the blog admins or the young colleagues that Sri Advaniji acknowledges in his post bring atleast some of the *actionable comments* to his attention. It will be good if Sri Advaniji can make this interactive by acknowledging such feedback in his follow up posts, and by reacting to them. If that does not happen, it will be another celebrity blog that will lose steam.
I particularly liked the comments of ‘Incognito’, some of them may be contrarian.
I have a specific comment - on ‘politicizing terrorism’. I believe that terrorism should be politicized. I consider it a failure of the BJP that terrorism has not been politicized, leading the media to declare that terrorism is not a political issue following the Delhi results.
Just this past year, thousands of Indians lost their lives and limbs to terrorist attacks. These Indians leave behind their aspirations, their families in destitution, misery and sorrow. Our eminent columnists talk about ‘rebuilding, resistance’ etc after a five star hotel Taj gets rebuilt in weeks, possibly using insurance claims. There are definitely several lives shattered from the attack at the VT station that can not be rebuilt. Even using ‘rebuilding, resistance’ etc in the context of the Taj hotel is obscene, and an insult to these victims.
Terrorism should be politicized, using the faces of the victims, and faces of the families of the victims. We forget them, and still wonder why terrorism is not a political issue. If you need a parallel, just recall the way Godhra was politicized using a *fake* photo of a tailor Ansari who eventually settled back in Gujarat. Atleast, learn from your enemies.
Why can not the BJP do a sustained campaign ? Hold routine press conferences, bring out the victims of terrorism to these press meets, get them to describe their shattered lives. Arrange for assistance for these victims, for them to continue with their lives. Terrorism routinely claims the poor - push cart vendors in Gujarat, migrant labour at the VT. They can do with such assistance.
At this rate, we will well have atleast one terror-affected family per each of India’s districts, if not more. It is tempting to say terrorism only targets the urban areas so it is not a issue in Rural India. Bring these victims out and let them express their anguish. Point out to how terrorism affects their lives - a migrant labour from UP migrating to Mumbai to escape his feudal misery back home, to make a living doing any labour - we have lives like that shattered. And yet we also have experts getting away saying ‘terrorism may be an issue only for the urban voers’. And not even that, after Delhi.
Terrorism is not an accident. In the prevailing cynicism, it will be easy to say that so do these poor die of accidents. But accidents do not have a idealogy behind them that plans and hits specific targets, and keeps doing that.
We do not have a lot of time. BJP strategists famously remark now that ‘there are no longer national elections. There are only aggregates of state elections. And not even state elections, only aggregates of local issues’. This approach feeds even more into those who callously claim that terrorism is not a political issue.
I would expect some specific plan of action from the BJP to make terror a political issue for the coming elections. Needless to say, any failure of the BJP in this regard will be a national failure, even disaster. But I fear for the worst, and not without reason.

This time, all attention has to be given to the forgotten needs of the majority Hindu community and the needs of minority gets looked after by fare common law. I hope the BJP willl direct its all energy towords this common goal of all Bharatis. All should recognise that its BJP which gives true strength to Indians as a whole. Good luck and God bless India

The dawning is breaking,
I can see its light,
There is no mistaking,
It’s the end of the night.
My heart it is singing,
I can hear its song,
The dawning is breaking,
The night seemed so long.
The cycle’s completing,
What seemed far is near,
The night is so fleeting,
Light makes things so clear.
Along the horizon,
The thread of its light,
The sun it is rising,
My heart it incites.

Dear Respected Sir,
I hope you read this post..
I have always wanted to meet and touch your feet. Our family deeply respects you. Once, i came to the airport at Bangalore, back in 2004, and missed because we were the 11 th person. They allowed 10 !
My wife worked for BJP for a short duration. We are software programmers.
I wish to state that all our votes are for BJP - LKA.
I have a slogan for your consideration :
Politics with Patriotism
Governance with Ideas
Sir, I have one submission to make:
Let me come straight to the point.
Your answers to questions (i saw you recently on TV) are lengthy…don’t you think so sir. Youngsters and people asking questions are impatient …
I want to see you as PM and devote 99% of time in Governance.. you mentioned this when NDA formed the Govt.
Thank you sir, for this opportunity.

Well Mr Advani, with due respects, first of all, it would be nice if you dont title your blog “Shri” L K Avani Blog or Advani “ji”’s blog… from what i have learned, it’s better if you leave such appelations be applied by others.
Next, although i am no admirer of the Congress which is the fountainhead of corruption and nepotism in India, i believe that your party does not provide the best alternative to the citizen either. In many issues, your party has sacrificed national interest for petty gains. The blood on black background ads that i saw post 26/11, saying “Vote BJP” left me sick. Kindly try and mould the BJP into a party which is a true guardian of a resurgent India, a right of centre political party that can truthfully be called a “nationalist” party which you like to call yourselves.
Sincerely hoping you would actually read the comments on your blog, and if possible, respond. India is dying for someone to rise and lead it to emancipation, to meet the destiny ordained for it. People like me can only be silent spectators in the shameless fight for power, but people like you have the power to be the catalyst that drives change. Is it a false hope that i have? Maybe, given the experiences that we have had with our politicians. It is upto you to prove me, and many others like me, wrong. I really hope you do.

Respected Advaniji and Shri Sudheendra Kulkarniji,
It is very nice to see that you have decided to use the power of internet to communicate. Our media is highly liberal and biased against right-wing movement in our country. Your blog will go a long way in ensuring that this bias is addressed to some extent.
We have recently started a website - http://www.bharatright.com. This website provides link to all the right-of-center articles from all English newspapers of India on a DAILY basis. It also compares liberal views on issues with conservative views. Readers have really appreciated the content. We have a humble request that you review the website on a regular basis. And if you like the content, please use your platforms to popularise this concept.

Topic : Political party ticket holding process
Hi,
Why don’t you guys program to bring out, Political party ticket holders work done for community, there agenda and plans.
The ticket allocation process. How they got the ticket and why ?
Why most of the political parties in India, does not have transparency in it.
Why every time, we are given one choice from one party(Solution: Internal selection process, which is not transparent and done by people(registered with your party)).
Why we don’t know, whom we are electing, We need to stop this indirect electoral process, In which a individual is unknown and at the end some gets and bring in his/her agenda and interests.
We are the country of multi-party system, why they don’t say in the beginning that we make coalition and he/her will be a leader? Why last minute surprises, when
non-competent leader takes office, which people didn’t mean to elect.
Thanks

Dear Advaniji,
I am really impressed with the blog and the way you have tried to communicate with Public. It is been my wish to communicate with you finally I have the opportunity today (I’m not sure whether you will be able to go through all the comments because of your schedule and I hope that you will assign some one from party to go through this)
I believe following should be the agenda BJP needs to keep for coming Elections and do not depend only TV media to communicate this to Voters as the media is very biased unfortunately !!
1. India, Growth of India and need for a strong leadership
2. Population Control –Restricting two child policy
3. Terror and inability of present Govt.
4. Along with National Issue it is important to have local issues (but for that a local leader is important I feel BJP do not have good local leaders in UP, West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Andhra, Kerala. Please try to change the present leadership in these states with immediate effect right from District Level)
5. Connecting the rivers and roads (Vaypayee’s Project) in India
6. A complete Economic agenda – localised with clear plans
I guess above issues with right candidates BJP should be able to get 250 seats in the present scenario and with other allies easily NDA should get 290-300. Selecting right candidate is very important along with the regular consultations you do for selection please try to put a panel of candidates in this site definitely people will be able to come up with suggestions
I hope BJP will raise above all internal differences and media to lead India in this critical moment. If it fails future generations will surely curse us!!!

I am so happy that I came across this blog. I have always felt that Mr Advani and the BJP itself have got very rough treatment at the hands of the print and the electronic media. I hope and trust that Mr Advani will be able to fully utilise this medium to carry conviction to the netizens and, indirectly, to the general public about his thinking on the Indian polity such as it is.

Dear Advani ji, I appreciate your move to reach us through internet and i appreciate your announcement of Telangana in 100 days sir. Here i would like to mention the things about inspiring youth towards BJP policies sir, despite huge support from the young and student community in Andhra Pradesh particularly in Telangana region, there is no considerable efforts by the BJP leaders to strengthen BJP in state sir. People in urban regions are deeply disappointed with Congress and TDP towards their Muslim favoring policies and burying well known facts of terrorists links with hyderabad muslim community for their vote banks, but don’t have other option except to go for either of the parties in the state. We hope BJP will look into this region and make the country a terrorist free region.

Dear Advani ji,
Absolutely fascinating to find your blog! And I promise you, I will be a regular visitor.
We are all obviously keen to hear more about your political views.
At these times of widespread cynicism amongst the educated, I would be keen to hear what in your opinion are the biggest challenges of being a political leader.
I am a big supporter of democracy - however, what I see around is our country has grown into a big “anarchy” - corruption in rampant in all walks of society, we don’t consciously respect others rights and there is selfishness everywhere. Would like to hear your views on this.
Like every other neutral supporter of yours, I am still but optimistically waiting to see the party led by you prove to be different than other competitors of yours - in removing institutionalised corruption from the political process, take steps in integrating the entire society currently divided on every other excuse possible, and allow the management of the government, if you come to power to young and bright but non-corrupt leaders of your party.
Can we, Advani ji!
January 11th, 2009 at 11:14 am
Mr Advani,
I think doing what Mr Obama may not lead to similar consequences. The amount of people on the net is a meager percentage of actual voes. The better thing may be to use various media channels to inform the public what your mistakes have been, how you plan to rectify them, and more importantly how you are going to accomplish the election manifesto, merely enlisting them may not be enough now. Politician should now be more acceptable to a two way interaction with the public. Presently you are used to a two way interaction once in five years…. but it may be on a more frequent basis.
Your party has good individuals …. i repeat individual competent politicians but the problem in working as a team and in the same direction. You have strong horses with u but as of now all r plying in different directions……hence the party as a whole looses
I feel u have to do a little bit of introspection and stop the blame game and I further request u to canvas what and how u will go about bringing a change. Forget the weakness of others. It may be good to know opponents weaknesses but harping on them and concentrating on the may not lead u any where.
Again I reiterate , concentrate on your strengths … leave religion totally … it your weakness now.
Hop u r listening….. expecting a mail from u ……

Dear Advani Ji,
Its really a nice initiative. Internet is a strong media to reach youth and intellectuals which is a major contributing community to the development of any country. India doesnt really need a youth leader, instead India needs a leader who can guide youth to a right direction and who can make India as a Jagdguru. It is the time when an experienced leader like you should lead India to build a Swabhimani Bharath. All the very best. I pray to god to see my loved Advani Ji as prime minister soon. We will contribute all possible ways to bring BJP in to power at center this time.I really feel that this is the right time for youth to come out to street and participate in rallies, road shows and Jana Jagarana Abhiyans for BJP.
January 11th, 2009 at 2:01 pm
Respected Sir,
It is indeed a very good idea that you decided to start a blog. Congratulations! Many people like me will be able to reach you through this medium. Only, I wonder whether you will ever get to read the ideas expressed by many people in these blogs due to your busy schedules. But I hope that at least some one close to you will be deputed to go through the comments and inform you about some which are appealing or feasible.
I am an apolitical person but my leanings are towards BJP due to the very fact that I am a Hindu and I believe that some one should take up the cause for the community. Congress party has many more seasoned politicians, who have more mass appeal and can relate to the educated and illiterate classes equally than the BJP. But many like me can see through the politics of the Congress party which for all purposes is not secular but hide behind a secular mask and BJP due to sheer necessity has to be a secular party but is painted as communal and fascist. That is the hard truth one has to face.
Sir, prohibition of cow slaughter, I think, is an agenda for the BJP. But enforcing it through legislation is fraught with difficulties. One way to save the cow would be to enhance the value of the cow. As such, cows giving milk are an asset to the owner. It could become more valuable (even those who have stopped giving milk) if the cow dung is made more useful to the owner of the animal. Of course, as it is, cow dung is useful in many ways to the villager but, I think, it may be possible to make it more profitable for the villager if they sell the dung to an agency which collects dung from individual farmer or small communities of farmers to feed biogas plants located in every district.
A biogas project should consist essentially of dung collection facilities from farmers (using all modes of transport and special containers for efficient handling), multiple digester units for continuous supply of biogas because the anaerobic action starts after a certain interval of time, facilities for drying the used slurry (sludge) for manure etc and a system for distributing the manure to the farmer. The biogas produced should be used to operate gas turbines to produce electricity which can be easily distributed or connected to an existing grid. The farmer should get a fair price for the cow dung and should be supplied with manure at fair price.
Sir, a project like the one described above set up in every district in the country can contribute a lot to improve the country’s energy situation. Sir, in Sweden a train powered by biogas connects the two cities Linkoping and Vestervik; in Linkoping a fleet of 65 buses are running on biogas. In Germany the auto maker BMW uses methyl from landfill gases to run gas turbines and produce 25% of their requirement of electricity. Is it not possible for us Indians to do something remarkable as this?
In India a lot of research work has been done on Gobar gas (biogas or methyl gas) and I believe there are over 2 million small Gobar gas plants operating in the country in villages for cooking gas. But the potential is far more if there is an organized effort to produce biogas on a large scale. I believe that there are over 125 million cows in the country which produces over 250 million tons of cow dung annually, sufficient to electrify entire rural India and to replace petroleum products for transport and coking. Is it not worth a serious thought?

Sir
As a deep admirer of Politicians and a person with great intrest in psephology i am deeply concerned with the kind of dislike and antipathy to Politicians in this Country especially in the great Indian Middle Class our consituency . I feel if we can remove this wrong notion we can increase the polling percentage in Urban areas which will only benefit our party .
This notion has been perperated by a series of misguided cinemas who are only looking for villians . They dont seem to understand that politicians have least job security , low pay and tremendous work to do , and are mostly persons with deep patriotic feelings . Hope this Blog dispel notions ,

Nice to see even you moving Obama’s way and quite rightly so. As far as I am aware of the political interest in tech savy youth around india, they try to avoid getting involved in politics or even voting.
Mainly because of the numerous scams, scandals, bribe cases which come across every day as compared to few milestone achievements being achieved by any party for the interest of the nation.
I just hope this portal might help improving politicians image among youth of india. All the best

MY VIEWS ON BJP’S CAMPAIGN FOR THE FORTHCOMING 15th LOK SABHA ELECTIONS
Views Authored by Shaik Mahaboob, Advocate and Former General Secretary, BJP Minority Morcha, Karnataka
Dear Sri. L.K. Advani Ji,
Namashkar,
Your recent blog titled “From hand bills to internet” is very excellent and informative.
May Almighty Allah bless you and your entire with eternal joy, peace and prosperity.
And I sincerely Pray Almighty God that you should address this great nation from the Historical Red fort on the eve of ensuing independence day.
I have got few brawny points for the BJP and its allies for effective campaigning for the forthcoming 15th Lok Sabha Elections.
We are all aware during the present regime of UPA; this great nation has lost its distinctiveness both in the national and international arena, due to various factors like inappropriate governance, inept ministers, roaring inflation and corrupt government servants. In toto we have witnessed UPA government headed by Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji, a utter squander as it deliberately failed to achieve their pre poll promises like Congress Ka Hath Aam Aadmi Ke Saath. What is interesting to note that the Congress which was inactive all these years without paying much attention to the burning issues like boisterous inflation, poverty, unemployment and growing hard core terrorism; abruptly started paying more attention on Terror after the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai keeping an eye on the ensuing 15th Lok Sabha Elections. The frequent press statements of the India’s Minister of External affairs questioning the Pakistan Government about its blatant failure to curb terrorism and sudden replacement of Union Home Minister Sri. Shivraj Patil, after the recent terror strikes in Mumbai and above all the conference dated: 6th January 2009 of the chief ministers held in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Dr. Man Mohan Singh Ji are all politically motivated something like dressing the unwounded part. This forthcoming Election will definitely teach a lesson to such of those Politicians and Political outfits who are considered to be most dangerous enemies within India and their election to the Lok Sabha will pose a threat to this great nation, unless, we, the cadres of BJP dedicate ourselves to struggle hard for massive campaigning at the grass root level starting from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and thereby emerge victorious under the maiden leadership of Sri. Lal Krishna Advani Ji, the only hope of Modern India.
1. TACKLING THE MOST VITAL AND BURNING ISSUE OF UNEMPLOYMENT.
India is facing miserable unemployment problems since independence. Although India is having great sources of employment opportunities, we are unable to create the same and thereby win the hearts of the young generation. This may be certainly due to wrong strategy and policies of the Congress government. The BJP’S campaign should focus more and more attention in creating employment opportunities in all the areas like agricultural, Dairy, Industrial, transport, shipping, IT and BT Sector etc., Firstly, the new measures for the agricultural cultivation of fruits and vegetables shall be implemented by using Drip Irrigation borrowing agricultural and technical know how from countries like Holland. We are solely depending on agricultural produce, but, rather it is painful that we are still following the age old system of cultivation of agricultural produces. There must be modern means of education and scrapping of old system of cultivation. Therefore, BJP should come out with the ultra modern concept for augmenting agricultural production, marketing and distribution and thereby we can certainly create employment opportunities in the agricultural scenario, beside, creating awareness among the farmers and peasants. There should be more and more agricultural colleges and universities imparting education in modern means of agricultural production, procurement of seeds and manure, cold storage system, marketing and distribution. It is pertinent to mention here that India is borrower of potting soil from Dutch for drip irrigation. We should basically understand that our Indian soil is more fertile than any other country and we can produce our own potting soil instead of borrowing from other countries.
Secondly, BJP should come out with the modern vision so far as the rehabilitation of existing Industries, establishment and up gradation of Research and development Units in the entire industrial sector. This will not only boost our domestic demand, but also we can produce the Industrial products touching the international standard and global marketing. For Example, the Earth Moving Equipment products which are solely manufactured by BEML in India is in less demand in domestic market and zero demand in the global scenario, when compared to the earth moving equipments which are manufactured in USA or Japan or in India under license from Komatsu, Japan or Caterpillar, USA. This is entirely due to bonafide reason that our earth moving products are below the standard or quality line and not suitable for carrying out any major earth moving excavation work. Although we are major producers of Earth Moving Equipments in India, we are seldom using our own Products manufactured in our own country. We are either dependent on Komatsu or Caterpillar for carrying out Heavy Road Works and our BEML products manufactured in India are hardly seen on the Highways during formation of Roads. We are still dependent on Komatsu, Caterpillar, L and T or Volvo earth moving equipments. There are many other examples where our products are in fewer demand not only in the global market but also in our own country. The BJP should come up with the ultra modern research and development units in all the industrial areas in order to augment the demand for our agricultural and industrial products both in India and abroad. By doing so we are not only rehabilitating our existing Industries, but also to avoid from threat of closure giving birth to multiplicity of problems like unemployment and poverty. The revitalization of industries will also generate employment opportunities in India to some extent.
2. ERADICATION OF POVERTY.
The complete eradication of poverty in a country like India is not probable unless we put an analysis to its linking areas like Education, employment, Health, insurance and Housing etc., I think under the immense leadership of Sri. L.K. Advani Ji, we can eradicate poverty more practically than the mere traditional election slogan Gharibi Hatao of Indian National Congress. The Congress failed in all fronts to put an end to this poverty menace except using the catchphrase during elections in order to deceive the Voters. The BJP’S Elections Manifesto 2009 should focus more attention on curbing this filthy Menace putting more emphasis on Free Education, Free Health and insurance, employment and Housing for the poor masses below the poverty lane irrespective of caste, creed and reservation.
3. EDUCATION.
Except in some states in India, we are lagging distant following relating to the area of Education. This may due to the erroneous policies of the Congress Government which paid less attention to this vital area. BJP should be come up with unilateral view in broad spectrum in order to curb illiteracy and thereby it must have a whole approach in the interest of our young children. Immediate enforcement of Law relating to compulsory education is the need of the hour. Therefore, free education shall be made compulsory in all the educational institutions of India up to 10th standard including provision of Free mid day Meal for every student. The BJP should seriously think about extending Loan at 0% interest from the Banking institutions to the meritorious students who intend to pursue higher studies in the flourishing areas like Medicine, Engineering, Marine Engineering, Information Technology and Bio Technology, Business Management, etc., The present rule of the government for the issuance of Educational Loan for the professional courses are very stiff, where a common man cannot pay heavy interest and the exorbitant periodical interest.
4. HOUSING.
Despite of enjoying supremacy for more than 40 years, the Congress Party has miserably failed in all counts concerning this grave dilemma. We have seen all these years that the persons who are having house of their own successful in getting the Houses allotted from the Government on priority basis. It is very sad state of condition that many of us including me crossed 50 and above, do not have or own an inch of land in India. This is the result of the negligence of the Government and its corrupt concerned authorities. During the colorful tenure of Sri. Atal Biharee Vajpayee Ji, the former Prime Minister of India and Sri. H.N. Ananth Kumar Ji, the former Union Minister of Poverty alleviation and urban Development, our country has witnessed mammoth Housing Programmes like Valmiki Ambedkar Gruha Yojana, wherein Lakhs of people achieved their dream shelter under the said Yojana. The BJP in its Election Campaign should religiously focus more efforts on the distribution of Plots/Sites/Houses to the needy, through various channels of the State Governments, irrespective of caste and reservation, after verifying the authenticity relating to the credentials of the deserving applicants. This is one of the most important vicinity, where the Voter will certainly think twice or thrice before casting his or her vote.
5. COMBAT TERRORISM.
The acts of terrorism are not new to the World; the same is common since 17th Century AD. The historical records reveals that the First Terror attack dates back to 1790, which is Popularly Known as Reign of Terrorism, wherein Maximillin Robespierre was Guillotined killing several innocent people. In 1881, Tsar Alexander 11 was assassinated in a Bomb Blast by a Christian terrorist Ignacy Hryniewiecki. In 1901 The Then President of US William WgKinley was assassinated by a anarchist called Leon Czolgosz. In 1925 there was Bomb blast in Nedelya Church in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria perhaps that was the biggest attack in Bulgaria committed by Bulgarian Communist Party. In the year 1934, King Alexander 1 of Yugoslavia was killed by his Gunman Vlade Georgieff, a Christian Militant. In 1961, the first place hijack was committed by a Non-Muslim Ramierez Ortiz. In 1969, the ambassador of Japan was assassinated by a Japanese Non- Muslim. Italy also is not free from terrorist attack, Red Brigades was kidnapped and killed Aldo Moro , the former president of Italy. In India 1984 happens to be the beginning of Terrorism, wherein former Prime Minister of India, Smt. India Gandhi Ji was brutally assassinated by Sikh Security Guard. In the recent times, whenever, we hear news about terrorism from any part of the World or in our own country, there will be straight focus on Muslims. In many cases it is proved affirmative and the Government had placed tangible evidence concerning the involvement of our Muslim brothers in the hard core acts of militancy. As true citizens of this great nation, we should unitedly condemn the treachery acts of terrorism and the Islam and the Prophet of Islam Mohammed (PBUH) never teaches brutal attacks on innocent people under the guise of the so called Jihad. We do not get justification in killing any Muslim or Hindu or any human being and sabotaging Temple or Mosque under the semblance of such a heinous crime. Whether it is Afzal Guru or Azhar Mohammed or any body indulges in Terror plot should be hanged until death. In this regard, we should congratulate the Muftis and Ullemas of various Madrasas for strongly and unitedly condemning the Terrorism and thereby issuing fatwa’s holding that Terrorism is against the tenets of Islam and against the teaching of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). The UPA government at the centre, proven unsuccessful in combating the terror, purely due to Vote Bank Politics. The BJP in its Election Campaign should reiterate and confirm the citizens of India that after snatching reins from UPA in mid 2009, the Prime Minister in waiting Sri. L.K. Advani Ji should reintroduce POTA with certain amendments, if any, safeguarding the innocents Muslim who are normally being fascinated by the Police under the influence of Political and Money Power.
6. HIGHLIGHT THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF BJP DURING THE 6 YEARS COLOURFUL TENURE OF SRI. ATAL BIHAREE JAJPAYEE AND ALL HIS CABINET COLLEAGUES.
The tenure of Sri. Atal Ji will be engraved in the Golden history of India concerning its overall growth in all fronts. Whether it is Pradhan Mantri Sadak Yojana or Valmiki Ambedkar Gruha Yojana or Kissan Credit Card etc., etc., Sri. Atal ji emerged victorious with his eminent cabinet colleagues like Sri. L.K. Advani Ji, Sri. Ram Naik Ji, Sri. H.N. Ananth Kumar Ji, Sri. Arun Jaitley Ji and Sri. Yeshwanth Sinha Ji and all other cabinet colleagues. While Sri. Ananth Kumar Ji was instrumental in launching Metro Rail Projects for the first time in India and Sri. Ram Naik Ji, introduced World’s First Ladies Special Train during his tenure as a Union Railway Minister and because of the magnanimous efforts of Sri. Ram Naik Ji, the Indian Parliament now sings VANDE MATARAM. During the golden rule of Sri. A.B. Vajpayee Ji, the Muslim Hajj Pilgrims had the benefit of more Hajj subsidy compared to the previous congress regime and his trip to Lahore in order to strengthen ties with our neighbors added a milestone to his sober directorial skill. Except some incidents in Gujarat due to the foul play of congress, the country witnessed cent percent peace and tranquility during NDA rule. The recent landslide Victory of BJP under the maiden leadership of the great statesman Sri. Narendra Modi goes to show that the Hindus and Muslims are united in Gujarat rather than in other states. Their unshaken unity is the great example of the splendid growth of Gujarat.
7. FOCUS ON OVERALL DEVELOPMENT: The BJP should focus its attention on the overall development of India, whether it is concerning Agriculture, Dairy, Industry, Textile, Communication, Transport, Education, Housing, infrastructure and Information Technology, the country needs immediate and speedy boost in line with Sri. Narendra Modi’s exemplary Model of Governance. Hope during the ensuing rule of Sri. Advani Ji, our country will certainly distinguish a drastic transform in all the sphere of governance. Adarniya Advani ji,
It was indeed a pleasure to see you becoming blogger. I can tell u Advaniji that India along with the world has lot of expectations from u. The political situation in India is so depressed that it is beyond description. It has been an uphill task for a common man to believe that he lives in a secured and prosperous India. So u along with NDA & BJP has a responsibility on your shoulders.
But challenges are not less for u. First of all u have to face some very ambitious but selfish people in your own party, and then the so called secularists of this country, which are ready to do any thing to defeat so called communal forces. Sometimes this word communal looks to have become an escape goat for any misdeeds of other politicians.
Another area rather a Grey area is media management, which I think needs improvement. Whenever there is any news in media, BJP is not quick to reply. I think one tv channel is also need of the hour.
The selection of candidates is another important area, which should be taken care of.
NDA is much lower in number of allies what it was in 1999. So NDA must try and increase the number of allies.
That is it, I wish u a great success in the coming 2009 polls. I will be happy if I could be of some help to BJP.

Dear Sir,
Please take VISION 2020 from our beloved Ex. President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam as a topic for your Blog. That can be taken as a basis for development. Please have some time to go thro that book, BJP should have come out with some concrete proposals.

It is a matter of satisfaction that you have conceded to the suggestion by your advisors in the media to use the platform of blogging. It is a nice site. Hope, you will open it yourself, not depending on your secretarial staff. A wishful thinking. Omar Abdullah was perhaps the first Indian politician to open himself to the blogosphere. But he turned out to be touchy person and closed his blog as he could not fathom his criticism. Hope, you won’t follow the suit, though you don;t seem to be immuned from the virus, afflicting Indian politicians irrespective of their hues and colours.
The blogosphere is a befitting reply to the tyranny of the editor in the print and electronic media. Here the viewer (eyeball in the language of blogosphere) is the master. Believe, your advisor must have told you the ‘peril’ of this transparent and open media for an Indian politician who loves to be surrounded by psychophants.
A uestion to your advisor? Why did you depend on the World Press to start a blog? Don’t you think the password, supplied to a user is cumbersome as it cannot be remembered easily. It means that you have not cared to be friendly users.

Dear Mr Advaniji,
I am a great supporter of you but the recent downgrade of our great ideological politics hunts me most. Politicians rake in small issues and make it seems a grand political issue.May it be religion, strike, any company affairs, sports, culture and what not. It seems that in each sphere of life there is an issue related to politics and people tend to take mileage out of it.
I would suggest, rather blowing the issues in air, why dont parties make a straight forward policy on issues and try to market that among the masses. They only chip in when suddenly something happens and take the ruling party responsible for one and all.
I think people are smart enough to take decisions by their own and they wont buy the empty rhetoric of politicians.
Please make sure that before going to the polls BJP must have some definite policies for the party and the country on several issues like energy, water, education, development, conversion, industries etc etc so that while in public they must not falter and only try to highlight the policies at large and asks for vote.
Make sure that terrorism and conversion, article 370, common civil code along with sustainable development (Bijli,Pani and Sadak) be a part of your exhaustive policy to transform India.

Dear Advaniji,
INTERNET is the only democratic medium in the world now.By adopting INTERNET as a medium of communication, you have pledged your commitment to DEMOCRACY and equality. This will change the way POLITICANS communicate with the cistizens and also the role of educated people in governance and electoral politics

Respected Advani Jee,
An Article, being liked on expressindia.com and youthejournalist.com.
India awaits LK Advani.
Election 2009 will be an event to watch. The country will be voting for a Prime Minister. Having suffered non- governance, at the hands of a non existing PMO, governed by a strings attached humble Prime Minister made to eat humble pie by left parties for four years, who suddenly changed colors in the fifth, and started trading in member parliaments, to honor her Majesty Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, and save a government running on whims and fancies, forgetting the promises made to the confused in 2004 weary in 2009 common man, throwing to the winds the common minimum program, and treating every calamity, be it terror, strikes, inflation, corruption, or the market crash, with lethargic ineptitude. Simple people of India deserve better. They deserve better because they are the ones who strive most to uphold the traditions of democracy. They are tired of Prime Ministers dependent on moods, awaiting clearances, which as it is demeans the highest public office in the country. They feel letdown by the Gandhi family, past masters in exploiting emotions for personal gains. Feeling trapped, suffocated, in these unpredictable times, they are looking forward to exercise there right to vote.
Indians can be fooled once, then they can be fooled again, but they can’t be fooled again and again. Indians are quick learners. Indians make up their minds who to vote out before every election. Indians are awakening to a new young world. After being hit by 26/11 and the utter confusion of a non performing government, Indians now want a strong, balanced, stable, vision oriented, following a mission statement, Government. Run with, experience and understanding of the great Indian way of life, of values, of nature, committed to protect every citizen, with all the powers, vested in it. Because, Indians understand that the age of information is the age of India . An India waking to its true potential, an India free of fear, an India redefining leadership to the world, an India self dependent, an India that is the destination for all, to learn from, to work with, to experience, the purity of freedom, the unanimity of its culture, the essence of its thought, and the fragrance of its religions, like flowers, off different colors.
The financial world in doldrums is looking for new markets, new ideas. Economies around the world are failing, the market slow down, have driven profit oriented companies, to re-think strategy, in coming fiscal years. Economists around the globe are studding the age old Indian system of saving, and living within ones means. The Indian family value system still exists, and in a big way is responsible for keeping India safe from the economic downturn. The Prime Minister of India a renowned economist himself, tried un-successfully to run with the hares, and hunt with the hounds, his plans for the economic turn around cannot be judged, as they could not be implemented, the hounds supporting him would not allow it, the hares backing him scared of loosing popularity, pulled him back, that he became a puppet, in the hands of vested interests, some say warming the Prime Ministers chair for the congress parties heir apparent. This taking the general public for granted, making mockery of their belief, by trying to hoodwink them into believing that we as a country under the present government run by proxy, from 10 Janpat, by Sonia Gandhi wife of Lt Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India, given our emotional nature to be swayed by events, as we all are answerable to our conscience, has all the solutions for its problems and progress.
Indians have realized that they themselves are the solution to their problems, and given a stable center can forge new ways to progress. Indians now are looking for clarity, well defined government plans to tackle a growing economy, strengthening the voice of the people, that they improve living conditions hand in hand with the government, sharing and earning the profits of rebuilding a resurgent India .
The face of the common man in India is LK Advani; distinctly similar to RK Lakshmans, world famous common man character, his spirited defense of the common Indian in parliament as the leader of the opposition stands testimony to his commitment to the common cause, of a secure, prospering, striving for equanimity society, giving equal opportunity to all to prosper in chosen fields. LK Advani has gathered experience over the years, and has traveled the length and breath of the country, educating himself on every aspect that binds the Indian Diaspora. His working at close quarters with Vajpayee the poet Prime Minister of India has taught him governance with benevolence, with patience, in accordance with the collective will of the people. His decisions as the Home Minister of the country set a clear road map for security forces to tackle terror. His ability to work long hours, building result oriented teams, and making responsible every one involved raised the level of debate in parliament. People all over the country became involved in the process of governance. Admittedly their were hiccups, corruption could not be controlled, the BJP a party with a difference succumbed to the fruits of power, but failures in public life, were lessons well learnt, the tainted have been systematically forgotten, eroded, new beginnings have been made, with fresh faces, young and eager, to take part in a democratic nation building, under his dynamic leadership, paving way for governments of the future not dependent on families, or family names.
Election 2009 is going to be a mandate for the Prime Minister, a Prime Minister who is not a puppet, is elected, and can work with the authority befitting a Prime Ministers office. A Prime Minister all understanding, accessible to parliamentarians, eager to debate, willing to learn from criticism, having the courage to say no, what ever the cost, giving the advantage to the underprivileged, siding with the poor, and setting examples for rest to follow through service without reward, without self interest, day in and day out. These are values laid down by the great saints that are dear to every Indians heart. Indians have seen their elders following them in their houses, which have kept intact the Indian family system for centuries. If the Indians can do it in their homes, they can do it for their country. Indians realize the need to go back to the basics. To bring back the experienced, the well traveled, simple hearted, kindly firm, emotional for his country, tough common man to the Prime Ministers chair. A Prime Minister who works for every one, not for one family, a Prime Minister who fills the heart of the young with the can do spirit, not a Prime Minister supporting only one young man to learn his political lessons, that one day he becomes the only choice. A Prime Minister we identify with, a Prime Minister like us. That is the Prime Minister India wants, India deserves, and India is waiting for.

Advaniji,
This is a very progressive step for the BJP. I have long held the view that Indian political parties are not using the web enough to promote their own agenda. Additionally I believe Indian political parties have the additional responsibility of educating the public on their democratic duties and helping them make the right decision for their own future and that of the country.
My only complaint to you sir, is the fact that more of party leaders aren’t doing the same. I was a big fan of the BJP government in 1999-2004 due to the fact that the cabinet and the leadership was a portfolio of stars. Atalji, the two Aruns, Mr. Fernandes and the others on your cabinet were all forward looking visionaries and every day I heard India developing on several fronts. It was a time of positive energy in the whole country. That is far from what I can say about the current government. They have a few achievements of their own, but the cabinet and the party leadership seems so uncharismatic and banal that I feel we have a rusty government. As we approach the next Lok Sabha elections, my wish is that BJP come back to power with a strong mandate. However your current campaign seems to promote that I’d be voting for yourself or Rajnath Singh rather than the greater force that is the BJP. I want to be convinced that what I’m voting for is not 1 or 2 individuals but that portfolio of stars. This is also a perfect way to illustrate differentiation from the Congress which begins and ends at Soniaji.
Thank you for taking the time to read my comments,

Dear Advaniji,
I am very glad to see your blogg. I want to see you soon as PM of India. I know BJP is the only party which can really take hard step and do change. I am in USA where i used to hear lot of things like highly populated, badly governed, no law and order, very soft on terror and criminals, democracy is really not for country like India…all bad things except IT, highly skilled professionals, Yoga intelactuals, I feel very sad and embarassed about remarks on country because governing body make image of country. We need change, for that party has to work a lot where only 3 month to go for general election. Media is playing very important role so party has to do whatever, which will make positive image about last NDA policy and very broad vision and next 5 year mission, It will send very positive signals to the people. I want to bring to your notice about BJP plan in UP…take very hard and bold step like give ticket to good image people, social worker, doctor, engineer….change. I read article in rediff, please refer following link..painful to read about party position in UP where 80 seats are there……NDA has to back again…only victory.

I wonder that you, Mr. Advani, have not cared to answer the comments on your post. Blogging is a true communication process as it is a two-way one. At least now you get feedback to your thoughts but it is essential in blogging that you reply to comments.

It is late. but better than never. It was surprising why only BJP do not give interest to come out with a electronic media. Now this initiative has passed with distinction because this will enhance the creative abitlity among party workers, inter active communication between the rulers and the ruled being a common platform for dialogues and understanding the problems/causes/solutions from the people of India. This also shows how techno-savvy people are looking at state’s administration/politics who believe/observe/keep their national interest. Well done Advaniji for this outlook and concern. I also hope that this kind of aproaches/adaptibility is followed/accomodated by every country men. Vande Mataram, Maa thuchche salaam….

It is great to see you have started a blog. This will definitely turn out to be a great forum for your supporters all across the globe. Its a little futuristic though (just like your printed handbills in 1952!!)

Dear Advaniji
It will be great if you can start responding to some of the comments also. It makes one happy to know that a blog writer has read your comments and responded to them.
I would also urge BJP to start or actively partner with some national level voter registration program.

Blog is a great tool to communicate with mass. We have seen the impact of information technology in Gujarat Election. There were lots of coummunities on web about Mr Modi and Gujarat Election. Now it is the right time to get to mass and learn the moodswing of people.

Please highlight the plight of persecuted Hindus worldwide. Hindu American Foundation has prepared a detailed report on persecution of Hindus, especially in Pakistan (25% of population in 1947, less than one now) and Bangladesh (35% in 1947, 5% now).

In a country with poor penetration of broadband, I don’t know what purpose will blogging serve. That Govt which provides broadband connection like electricity or domestic gas would be the most popular one. Until then, it is like having a Mercedes car in India - no autobahns in our country, you see ?

Well, when i entered my earlier reply, i found a message that ”Your comment is awaiting moderation” from the blog.
I dont really get it what sort of moderation do one need in an open interactive conversation.
Because moderation kills the very purpose of postings.
If you can handpick even a minimal reply/suggestion/comment per day, maybe just one enough, and can give your own personnel feedback, openly.
It will be enough to generate a big inflow to this blog.

This is a great initiative. It is not very often that politicians address India’s small but vocal tech-literate community.
I hope that this will set an example that other politicians will follow. A dialog with all sections of society will make our democracy truly functional.

I am proud today. A senior political leader and the prime ministerial candidate of a major party is reaching me with the communication channel that I use.
I am not proud when I say I haven’t been voting for a long time. The reasons are aplenty. But the primary reasons are: I didn’t know about the candidate whom I am voting for. I didn’t know his intentions. I never read his pamphlets. Put simply, I couldn’t trust him/her with my vote.
I would have certainly voted if someone communicated more personally like what Adavniji is doing. It let’s me judge the candidate and decide whom to vote.
Thanks so much for reaching and communicating to thousands of people like me.
I am going to vote from now on and participate in the election process.
January 24th, 2009 at 8:09 pm
I do not think Advaniji, you have time to read all the above comments. If you have,it will be fine. All are best comments.I hope you will touch our heart if you communicate again.I think we have been divided by language wise states which i think wrong.Shri Rajaji was against this. He was correct, because we are facing lot of problems . In karnataka Tamils were attacked. In Mumbai Biharis and UP people were attacked because of this problem. What is your opinion?I think we should not have divided language wise.Am i correct?Corruption level it is sky high. What will you do?I still wonder why nobody said anything about connecting water. Will you assure us , if you become the PM of this great nation? please send reply to my email. cpsinghvi@yahoo.co.in.Have you been informed about the recent by election held in Tirumangalm,Tamilnadu where crores and crores money spent by the Parties.

Dear Sir,
I am from lucknow and is voting Atal ji and other candidates of BJP, from the time i got the right to vote.
Recent incident in Manglore and other such incident in other parts of country make me think, whether i did right by voting for BJP. I have seen that governments in the past (for example, killing of professor by ABVP activist), avoid taking action against such crimnals, particularly yours. any inaction in such cases, send wrong message, in general against your party reputation and in particulr our beloved religion. I believe these fundamentalist do little benefit and mazor harm to the religion. The question is do we want the talibanization of our lovely religion.
Sir, i and my freinds are actively monitoring your party response to current incident, and will decide our votes on the basis of state government action.

SAT SHREE AKAL,
An ideal political party should be SARVE-SPARSHY. It should represent all segments of the society. No cast bias and power to the poorest of the poor or lowest of low in the society are some compulsory characterstics of a good national party. An able leader should stand behind the down-troddens of the society.

Respected Advaniji,
Thank God that BJP has woken up to the era of technology. You have seen the power of new media & IT in the Obama campaign wherein Obama was able to establish a direct relationship with millions of voters & activists.
Sangh parivar still lives in obscurantist world and its affiliates stioll carry out Moral policing acts against so called western culture & western value system, valentine’s day, christianity, et all.
The rampaging events of Mangalore by Sangh parivar cronies, the shameful acts of Church vandalisation in Karnataka & Orissa, Shiv Sena & MNS rampaging in Maharasthra, all these send very wring signals, yet the BJP leadership keeps quite thus signalling their covert acceptance. This is going to cost you heavily in the forthcming Elections.

Dear Advanji
I am deeply saddenned by the events taking place at Mangalore in Karnataka. The Govt inaction to bring the culprits to book does not speak good about the Government management. I was rooting for BJP before they got elected, but now it saddens by decision. this is what i had not expected but wanted to see the development which is put to back burner.
The goonda raj has set in and every day it is becoming worse in Karanataka
Why is the senior leaders like you keeping quite. One thing i am sure now, is that when I vote in future my decisions will be well thought and not become emotional
I sincerely want to see a corrective action taken, we do not want petty politics, building temple is not a priority in such times of crisis. People are interested in job creations and other basic neccessaties which is largely missing
February 14th, 2009 at 10:37 pm
Jai Shri Ram,
Hope you can stomach this constructive criticism . The time has come for you to step down . Narendra Modi is the only one who should be BJP’s PM designate . Vibrant Gujarat is Modi’s credit not yours.
If you really want BJP to win, for the same of the party , please step down. I , my friends, my colleagues and my professors believe that will Modi at the helm , BJP will win hands down . If you remain at the top , BJP will not get our vote.
February 15th, 2009 at 10:10 am
Hon’Ble Sir,
India is in dire need for an alternative to Congress. However, the alternative should be secular as India is a nation of many faiths and regions. My humble opinion is that the extremist (those who propogate Hindu faith) elements in the BJP need to be phased out. Personal opinions should not come in way of good governance. A Prime Minister is for the entire country and not just one section of society/religion.
You, Sir, did try to project yourself as secular but those around you just do not let you function. The killings of Christians, the goondaism in Karnataka and Maharashtra need to be condemned. One has to be pro-active and not be afraid to ruffle a few feathers.
I do vote for BJP, but am not happy with the current trend. I sincerely hope the necessary and sincere transformation will take place for an alternative to Congress.

Dear Sir,
I am very much happy that you are availble online. I liked the last tenure of NDA. Especially the massive infrastructure projects your government undertook. But, i personally felt that you were very much radical and Vajpayeji was moderate. Hence there was a perfect mix in the goverment. Hence it was a smooth tenure. Now i feel that if NDA comes to power, the government will be more radical and there could be communal unrest within the country. India is no longer a nation of religious fanatics. I think the poll agenda of BJP of constructing the ram mandir is very age old.
March 6th, 2009 at 10:50 am

The youth of this country need development to come in every nook n corner of this country. I think that instead of portraying Ram Mandir as your main campaign agenda, you can give the first priority to beat the recession in India. Upon seeing the Mangalore incident, i feel that your party can hold back the country from development. I think you should first try to put out that image of your party from the minds of the youth.

Adarniya Advaniji,
Just as for Gandhiji, reading Swami Vivekananda would increase the love of my country a thousandfold. There was nothing in the whole wide world that looked more profound and all encompassing than our own thought. It was exhilirating.
But I would also fret. Fret on why my country’s growth could not be modelled on the world view of our forefathers. Why are we among those unfortunates who do not have the intellectual freedom to shape their own destiny. Why the only ones to continue to suffer cultural insults from hired pseudo ‘Indologists’. They are more secular than even Max Mueller, who had to concede some ‘communal’ points after all.
It is here that I have seen a ray of hope in the BJP. A vehical of rebuttal and reaffirmation. I fervently hope that this character remains.
We pray that God gives you long life.
with highest regards

Dear Sir,
Being as an Engineer by profession I will like to inform you about some alarming issues since I like to vote for the real responsible Hero. I am not going to vote BJP since my parents vote for this party. Also I would like to suggest some ideas which can help in your implementation.
Agendas:
———-
1. Removal of corruption from the Government organizations:
Idea: Implement a course of general law giving the difference between wright and wrong.
2. No reservation :
Provide free Education(Including professional) to Poor and subsidised study for children of BPL/ below tax paying limits. It must not be on terms of caste only as caste has nothing to do with education.
March 7th, 2009 at 12:00 am
3. No inclusion of people having any criminal cases:
As nearly many of the MP’s are actors, Gundas, who snatched the
votes, not won .
4. For the person who is driving the country must have a good academics
record…like.A Graduate, with law and finance knowledge…Must have an
MBA with 15 Year Exp. Like in TATA group…Get some inspiration from TATA.
5.Agriculture needs to be taken under government and now no farmer
will be going to die. Otherwise industrialist and Real Estate developers buy fertile
lands and one day we will fight for food.
But if your party is going to be on these roles, then every engineer
will vote for you since an engineer want to see development.

1. Article 21A directs the State shall provide free and compulsory education to all children of the age of six to fourteen years
2. Article 24 prohibits employment of children below the age of fourteen
3. Article 39(e) and (f) provide that the State shall, in particular, direct its policy towards securing to ensure that the tender age of children are not abused and that the citizens are not forced by economic necessity to enter avocations unsuited to their age or strength and that the children are given opportunities and facilities to develop in a healthy manner and in conditions of freedom and dignity
I simply wonder if the so called “State” is blind that it can not see umpteen kids in slums and elsewhere who do not get the so called “free and compulsory education” as directed by Article 21A, who are forced to work in roadside eateries and stalls forced by their economic necessity to do works unsuited to their age and strength!

I Like BJP in the sense of non-minoriy politics.
Not hanging Afzal is aster example of divisive politics of India.
One should love India above his party. Whther congress looses or gains coz of hanging him, should not bother them.First of all congress people should realize that they are indians and he attcked theor own temple of democarcy. For example if i need to spare one academic exam for taking my mother to hospital, i will spare it.They should also think in similar lines.
Secondly BJP should reach out common people in INDIA.Provide them basic health, food, shelter.
Gone..!! They will be with you forever.
Please ensure that your party workers reach evary one of billion people seekign them to take BJP member ship.IN AP there are lot of fans for BJP,media never counts though.Only problem we never know where should we go and who are all representing BJP there.
Strenghen your base as your allies might cost you in future too !!
All they very best..

Dear Shri Advaniji,
Common man is so used to all this type of glamour of elections. Will accept the same hands down. As the reply does not provide for more than 1000 words, please read my comments on the below blogs
LK Adavni’s Blogs
http://antares-betelgeuse.blogspot.com/2009/03/lal-krishna-advanis-blogs.html
Why LK Advani and NArendra Modi cannot be killed/assassinated
http://antares-betelgeuse.blogspot.com/2009/03/why-lal-krishna-advani-or-narendra-modi.html
If something helps common man, i will ensure that i support that and encourge others to support. In my personal opinion, today the border line for communalism and secularism is vanished, so making this election issue is redundant.

Dear Advani ji;
I am of the opinion that; The electronic media viz. TV is most widely viewed nowadays; and if efforts will be made to; communicate the peoples what BJP has done during their period, will prove fruitful. Though many didn’t understood the India shining slogan. But I did.
You can project over there that how Jaitley ji had fought in W.T.O. meeting against subsidies waving off on Agriculture.
Many more hidden and strategic achievements are there. It’s difficult to share in short time on net.
but Those must be brought out in the knowledge of peoples; Slogans may go out of mind but achievements projected to them will remain in their minds.
Can you please emphasis on RAM TEMPLE issue that if Ram Temple was not in Ayodhya then in which country it was?
If any body forcibly captured my house and put a name plate of his own; then should I not reclaim it back?
If interest of HINDU’s will not be protected in INDIA, then in which country?

Factually speaking there are more than 50 countries to protect interest of Muslims, more than 100 countries for Christians but only one country for HINDU’s; (NEPAL is going to decline).
Can you project in this election that HOW these so called seculars had; devided our HINDU’s in to several factions, only for the sake of votes?
If census will be carried out on ground level Muslims wont be minority; now they are very much in population of Hindu’s.
SIKHS, BAODH(BUDDH), JAIN, are also Hindu’s only with different Panth, like Shakt, Vaishnav and Shaiv; but basically they are Hindu’s only.
Why not a uniform code for all peoples in INDIA.
Why my country is not having its own language? (only a RAJBHASHA no Rashtra Bhasha).
Who are they who say only English can improve you technically and on world level? Are CHINA, JAPAN, RUSSIA, GERMANY, FRANCE are less developed than INDIA?
continued…………to 3
March 13th, 2009 at 3:38 pm
(3)……….Continued from last
They are more developed because their people can think in their daily language; not like a robot who taught ot behave on one language only.
By teaching our children’s in Convents we are unable to feed our Sansakars properly; they say OH GOD HELP ME; like a Christian child; because the atmosphere of education is Christian based.
When National Language and one State will be compulsory; in work and for any job; the trend will automatically shift to teaching in our own language and our children will better understand our culture.
INDIA is not suitable for MALL culture; here hawkers must be protected; if they will be engaged in their earnings most of the crime will automatically reduce. Else they will be sitting idle with no work and to feed their own stomach and their family they will tend towards crime.
Why are we getting 12 Rs litre water bottle of which actual cost is only Re1?
continued …………………. (4)
March 13th, 2009 at 3:43 pm
(4) ……………… continued from last
Our Leaders only can Project these; nobody is going to listen me; you are our hope.
Please project all these in all over INDIA.
Last but not the least if China is China, Myanmar is Myanmar; then why BHARAT is India?
Why our children’s pronounce RAMA to RAM, GANESHA to GANESH SHIVA to SHIV; these are all because of our leaders wrong policies.
They tried to remain Harijan’s believe that they are Harijan’s, if they will feel equality they won’t vote them. They had tried to fool them by reservations; but never tried to improve their prospectus.
But please do it repeatedly in Media and in your campaigns.
Mostly I hit hard in my comments; but these are the points which I know you can project in your own style and legendary approach.
To repeat again; these voices of unity in Hindus and your achievements should reach again and again to the ears and minds of peoples.
With best regards and Best wishes
Shiv Prakash Singh

pujniya advani ji..jai hind…
this is very nice initiative by you…well done…i wanted to say that me and my family is a big supporter of BJP not on the issue of Hindutva..but because BJP works aggressively against any problem..but now a days i am bit confused on BJP policies because whatever happened on valentine day in different part of India…it was not at all fare…after atalji and you no body will be there to take care of BJP ..mean to say there will be no one of personality like you ….isn’t there a need of changing the policy of our party…who cares there will be temple or mos in ayodhya..i know sometimes there is strong need of being hard and offensive…but not all the time..BJP should adopt secularism till some extent…i really salute mr. narendra modi for his work in gujrat…he would be the best person to become a PM after you…
with regars and best of luck
March 19th, 2009 at 10:15 pm
Dear Advani ji , I sincerely wish you to be the Prime Minister of this country on your own i.e. a clear and comfortable majority of the party that you had founded on the ruins of the then Janta Party as formed during the 2nd Freedom Struggle i.e. Emergency imposed by Mrs. Gandhi in June , 1975. The staunch pro Hinduist image of Bhartiya Jansangh and later Bhartiya Janta Party has been the main obstacle to the dream success of your Party despite a well meaning philosophy for the bright future of this country and the dedicated team of workers and also the leaders. This is the high time that you must analyse the cause and take remedial action immediately which is bound to take you along with your party to the cherished destination.

March 19th, 2009 at 10:16 pm
Sir, without beating about bush, despite your well intetioned policy for the Minority communities in general and Muslims as such for their active integration with the Indian Society at large , they have been alienated by the one single incident and the instance of the demolition of Baberi Mosque on 6th December, 1992 which has shaken their faith and belief in your capacity to lead the people. I am convinced that Lord Ram would have never permitted construction of any temple dedicated to him at least at his birth place — particularly because how so ever blessed it was on account of Ram being born there — as it was the place carrying the memories of the last breath Of his beloved father King Dasharath. Well , it would not behove you or even me to be reminded of the King leaving the palace of queen Kaikeyi and shifting to the palace of the eldest queen Kaushalya after Ram had left for the forest along with Sita and Lakshman.
–contd
March 19th, 2009 at 10:18 pm
The King was in mourning lying on the ground along with Kaushalya and perhaps queen Sumitra remembering his eldest son Ram and his innocent childhood ever since the later’s birth at the particular spot. The king left for his heavenly abode only on hearing from his freind and minister that Ram could not be persuaded to return to Ayodhya. Ram being what he was or else rmains and continue to remain for ever will never allow any temple for him at a place wich is jinxed with the sad demise of his father.
– contd
March 19th, 2009 at 10:20 pm
Dasharath and Baber are the two famous charecters in the Indian mythology and histstory who sacrificed their own lives for their sons. But let us compare the pangs and the ecstacy of the two while leaving for the heavenly abodes — the one dying of the seperation from his beloved son and the other having taken back his beloved son from the claws of the death and submitting himself to die in lieu of his sick and ailing son. The two illustrious fathers continue to haunt the Indian minds for all time to come. Incidentally , there are only two instances of the exiled kings getting back their kingdoms after a prolonged time gap — those two being Ram and Humayun. Ram was fortunate to have brother like Bharat whereas Humayun had to face his brothers only as adverseries in the battle field.
–contd
March 19th, 2009 at 10:21 pm
The process of integration i.e. Indianisation had started that time only which finally culminated into the last Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah ‘Zafar’ being declared as the undisputed leader in the First War of Independence.
–contd
March 19th, 2009 at 10:22 pm
Sir, I am confident that no devout muslim will like to build a mosque upon such jinxed land which had been the cause for so maqny innocent lives being lost for nothing. But being the leader of the Indian People — and not that of the ‘Hindu’ (?) community alone — the innitiative for the solution i.e. samadhan has to come from you and you alone at the earliest. You shall win the confidence of the entire Muslim community immediately after come out with the solution . You don’t take it as an appeasement of the Muslims as such but a correction of the wrong perpetretd upon them for the sake of the future generations i.e. the sons and daughters of the entire Indian Society as a whole which is paying heavily for the ‘Devide and rule” policy adopted by the Britishers and perpetuated by the biggest man made tragedy known as Partition of this country known as India.

SRI ADVANIJI,
PARTY MUST DEFEND VARUN GANDHI STRONGLY. MAKE THIS ISSUE AS ELECTION ISSUE ATLEAST IN U.P. PARTY WILL GAIN FROM IT.
I REQUEST U SIR, PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT SRI NARENDRA MODI MUST PARTICIPATE IN UP ELECTION CAMPAIGN AS STAR CAMPAIGNER TO RESTORE THE PAST GLORY OF THE PARTY.
I THINK IT IS NOT GOOD TO ATTACH CAMPAIGN RESPONSIBILITY TO MODI JI ONLY 78 LOKH SABHA SEATS. IT SHOULD BE ATLEST 150. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE ADVANIJI AS PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA. THIS IS LONG CHERISHED DREAM TOO. BUT I WOULD LIKE TO TELL U THAT IF I WANT TO MAKE MY DREAM TRUE, NARENDRA MODI MUST BE A STAR CAMPAIGNER IN ATLEAST 150 LOK SABHA CONSTITUENCIES.
THANKING YOU SIR. DEVENDRA( 27 ). ANDRA PRADESH
March 24th, 2009 at 6:27 pm
Congress has the easy go policy of managing things superflously which benefits the united vote banks more than the divided Hindus. What BJP can and should do is to adopt policies rooted in Hinduism and concentrate on the bigger issue of uniting the Hindus against invasion of other religions in their own country. In fact Hinduism can actually gobble up every other religion if they address a few issues plaguing the Hindu society such as the following.
1). Casteism :- This ugly monster created by the Brahmins with the help of uppercastes has become the blot and butt of ridicule of the Hindu Society before the world. Many lower castes converted to other religions because of this. BJP can declare a war against Casteism and devise methodologies to promote inter caste marriages. This would bring the Hindus closer. The upper castes in BJP would squirm in their seats. But that is precisely the point.
March 24th, 2009 at 6:28 pm
Because Hindus practised Casteism, other religions have flourished in this Country. The leftists are more progfressive in this issue (inter caste marriages)than the BJP. Accept good wherever it is. It is not against Hinduism.2). Dowry System:- The less said about the Dowry system, the better. BJP can do something to eliminate or minimise this barbaric system. This would bring the women into the party while eradicating a social evil. Remember Muslims and Christians do not invove in female foeticide. Hindus Do. Why? Which holy book of the Hindus prescribe this?
March 24th, 2009 at 6:28 pm
3). Multiple marriages and divorces:- Men and women are promiscuous. Those who can live with a single partner throughout their lives may be allowed to do so. But do not insist it as the doctrine on the others. The divorce procedures should be simpler. For example the couple may be allowed to split after living together for a specific period after giving a notice period of three months splitting their total wealth between them. Similarly Sri Rama’s father had three wives. If BJP can accept it, then they can also allow someone who can afford to have more than one wife, do exactly that. Here interestingly, Hindus need to learn from the Muslims and Christians.
March 24th, 2009 at 6:29 pm
4). BJP can bring about amlagamation of other religions to Hindusism by accepting values and practical methods which make the life easier. Actually this is the essence of Hinduism. accept all good practices from any one. Why block out Muslim or Christian ways in entitrety? Accept the good ones from any religion. That is Hinduism. Can BJP champion this cause?
I hope some BJP leader reads this message and discuss. My feeling is that with the current startegy of simply criticising the Congress, the BJP has lost their vision and plot. For exapmle hasn’t a Sonia gandhi, despite being a western born female, adapted herself to the true Indian wife? Can BJP appreciate that? When you said last time that she is a foreigner Sushama Swaraj (even with her surname) lost to her. Because Indians saw Sonia as a loyal india Widow. With all the wisdom, the BJP leaders could not see beyond her coloured skin.
March 24th, 2009 at 6:29 pm
Simlarly the uprising of mayavati is due to the indian’s feeling that the BJP is nothing more than the old upper caste contraption put in a new bottle. So the lower castes rally behind a person who is as down trodden as themselves. can the present BJP uppercaste leaders see this? If BJP only tries for some cosmetic changes like putting a dalit in charge of something as tokenism, just remember. The uppercaste agenda is working. Can’t help it because the BJP is nothing but that only.
With such attitudes, BJP is not going to win the mandate to rule India. BJP will lose this time also. Unless BJP sheds its uppercaste way of thinking and act on the real issues facing India, they are going to witness further demographic changes and finally complete invasion of this country.

Sir, Its a honor writing in your blog. With the growing popularity of Internet, every businessman whether small or big, irrespective of the business they have, wants to make their presence felt in the online world. Since Internet is being accessed by majority of the young generation, I think its a great idea to promote your campaign online and reach them with your ideas towards making a Great India. I think this concept will certainly take politics to new heights and soon will be followed by all the major politicians.

The BJP appears to have been trapped into the Congress style of politiking. The slugfest is the example. For the common man there may be nothing to differentiate between the two. This however is not unexpected from the uppercaste Hindu outfit named BJP. BJP leaders are in fool’s paradise thinking that once the election is won, their job is over. Typical Uppercaste hypocracy. Once they had won. The pressing issues are Common Civil Code and abrogation of Constititution Article No. 370. See how the BJP keeps these ssues in the back burner when it comes to appeasing the Minority. One thing for sure. The Minority has nothing to worry from BJP. They are as hypocritical and double speaking as the Congress.
March 25th, 2009 at 11:07 am
Unification of Hindus, abolition of caste system and dowry, adopting good and practical ways of living from the minority communities, compulsory education for all children, Common Civil Code, Abrogation of Article 370 of Constitution, Women’s empowerment, reservation of 50% seats for women ….there are pressing issues that requires to be addressed. BJP could have addressed these in a positive manner. Instead is the BJP behaving like a Hinduised version of the Congress culture. The BJP has failed to inspire the Indians and are only interested in rhetorics and creating fear. The party needs to have self less leaders who can lead based on the Indian legacy
March 25th, 2009 at 1:21 pm
Talking about Muslims, it would have been better to ship out all muslims at the time of Independence as they had sought for a separate Country for themselves. The second option was to ban the remaining Muslims from voting rights. The third option was to arrive at a consensus that the ratio of the population of the various religions would be frozen. Now we face the music. The Muslim population has multiplied 7 times from 3 crores to 21 crores from 1947 to 2007 in 60 years. Meanwhile the Hindu population has barely doubled from 35 crores to 70 crores. With their declared agenda of globalisation of Islam, the picture is complete.
March 25th, 2009 at 1:30 pm
Now what is the safe way out? Obviously, spreading hatred and killing the Muslims is out. The Hindus need to introspect how the other religions are flourishing in the country and how it can be controlled. First of all why do any Hindu need to convert to another religion? The first reason is Casteism and untouchability practised by the so called upper caste hindus which had led many lower castes to convert to escape humiliation and torture. Can BJP champion the cause of unification of the Hindus rather than limiting itself to serving a few self serving leaders, mostly from upper castes, to enjoy the power? Mayavati’s popularity should open BJP’s eyes. She is a lower caste Hindu n whom the masses trust now rather than the masquerading uppercastes in BJP outfit.
March 25th, 2009 at 1:41 pm
The way forward is to make Hindu way of life desirable so that the conversion would end and reconversion may begin. How to make Hindu way of life attractive? Firstly the casteism which is not in the scriptures but only introduced by the upper castes is to be abolished. Secondly the dowry system is to be curtailed. Muslims do not kill female foetus. Adopt good practices from them, or for that matter any other religion, while rejecting the bad practices. Thirdly archaic divorce laws are to be made practical. Here Christian laws may be considered even though Muslim triple talaqs are even faster. Need compuslory education and compulsory military service for all for literacy and discipline. No other party can champion these causes like the BJP. But their learders are also following the Congress way of MANAGING the problems rather than SOLVING them.

BJP should reinvent themselves and truly become the party with a difference. Pakistan bashing and hatred to Muslims is typical upper caste philosophy. This is not hinduism. In hinduism all are God so how come a Muslim is not part of God? The higher than thou attitude by the Hindu upper castes is plagueing the BJP. Hinduism is about embracing all good practices. No religion is to be left out. How do you embrace Ajmal kasab? Your way of life should be such that Kasabs will not originate. For this we need to go deep into Hindu scriptures and introspect to decide the way forward. The beauty and strength of true hinduism is to be brought about in real life. The entire world would then respect the Hindus. Can BJP do it?
March 25th, 2009 at 2:04 pm
Does the issue of Sonia back driving the Prime Minister solve any of the real problems in India? BJP has lost the plot and are trapped in the congress culture and style of politics. They are acting exactly to the tune of the Congress without knowing about it and in the bargain what BJP would lose is the credibility. BJP’s actions have become very predictable. Criticize everything that are not acceptable. Again evidence of the upper caste mentality. The sooner the BJP gets out of going round in circles, and address the REAL issues that common people are affected with, the better. Why harp on economic crisis when it is a global phenomenon and India is relatively better of even now?

Hi Advaniji,
Its nice to see you online & Hope you will consider my comments. points I want to make & expecting answers are:
Whether BJP while giving tickets, will scrutinies stop giving tickets to criminals?
if BJP comes to power
1. Whether BJP will keep “Creme layer” people out of reservation. so that really poor people make use of it, instead of so called SC/ST rich using it again & again?
2. Whats your stand on Reservation in private sector? (I hope you will oppose it)
3. Why don’t BJP leader talk of what they are going to do, rather than what congress has done wrong, People want to see the feature, not a fight on whats goneby…..
Hope I will get some answer….

Respected Advani ji,
I’ve been observing the trail of events as any other ordinary Indian, but with more pain in heart than a dozen thorns can instill.
I am ashamed when the world sees us as a feeble nation, bowing down to rogue states and internal security issues.
Recent IPL push-out has caused more damage to India’s National image than international, The UPA government is inept and incapable in addressing Security concerns of the Nation.
Their recent Copyright Song “JAI HO!!” is nothing but “Bhay Ho!!” in a common Indian mind….

UNLESS COMMUNIST S ARE FAUGHT HEADON IN RACE TO CAPTURE MESSAGE AND MEDIUM EVERY NEWS COMING OUT OF RSS WILL BE GIVEN NEGATIVE SLANT BY MEDIA HOLD BY CONGRESS.

Dear AdvaniG..!!
First of all, congratulations and very BEST WISHES for the wonderful initiative of reaching the Indian youth in their style! It’s really great to read and go through your new-edge technology - a blog world!! We, the friends in Vienna always discuss about the new strategies and new videos released on youtube from you or ModiG.. We are also planning to vote for BJP from here! We really NEED to change the monopoly and dictatorship of Congress and raise the status of Hindus in their own land! And for this, there is no-option other than seeing you as a prime-minister.. But, for this we need to modify the mind-setups of poor Indian people (which is controlled by congressy since more than 50 years) and assuring them about their position by sowing the seeds of pride and self-respect through BJP.
I really hope for the great SUCCESS and VICTORY of BJP and you in up-coming elections to prove India’s strength on world-map!
Har Har Mahadev!!
Jai Hindusthan!

On the IT vision:
Its just marvelous. I mean the whole idea of ITising the economy pipeline, will definitely give the true value of the taxpayers money. In a developing nation like India corruption is inevitable, but this method will definitely be helpful in fighting corruption, but I sincerely doubt its implementation. Its too much to ask from governments who have people pulling each other all the five years( If they get lucky to stay there). But I sincerely pray to God whoever comes into government they should implement such policies keeping their personal interests aside for a while.
March 30th, 2009 at 4:44 am
What the hell is BJP doing??
You have such good policies, yet the party suffers in elections. The only reason is that the mass is uneducated, but the real problem is even the educated mass is unaware of the really fruitful policies( such as the IT vision). All the time and advertisements are spent in pulling the legs of other parties politicians etc. Why don’t you spend your resources in publicizing these? Even if you are in opposition its the moral responsibility of the government and opposition to work together and implement such policies which are meant for national welfare.

BJP can easily win the hearts of half the Muslim population in India without breaking a sweat simply by declaring that BJP would implement for Common Civil Code. Unbelievable? But that is the fact. Half of the Indian Muslims are females who know the life of freedom in India. Katrina Kaif and Sania Mirza are living examples. They have the two options of Talibanisation or freedom. Whoever guarantees liberation of women and fearless lives would get their votes. They may be voting for the left and the Congress now due to lack of understanding of the principles of BJP. Position BJP as the true association for the patriot people irrespective of their religion. This to be done not by tokenism but in true spirit. With the Muslim females in their kitty, winning the election would be a cake walk. So pls wake up BJP and declare that you stand for the Common Civil Code rather than getting trapped into the Congress style of politicism.
April 1st, 2009 at 4:08 pm
BJP, Advaniji please go through my mails. BJP has to reposition themselves in Indian politics and really bring about the social changes such as annihilation of casteism whereby the lower castes can be wooed back, women’s empowerment aimed at the female’s support through Common Civil code, education for all by food for the starving at schools, Unification of Hindus, abolition of dowry system, adopting good and practical ways of living from the minority communities such as easy divorce like the christians and allowing multiple marriages as for muslims, reservation of 50% seats for women etc are realistic and far reaching policies for Indian population. Feel their heart throbs and purge out the upper caste psyche that is currently ruining the BJP. Please listen to me now as the elections are due. With the congress style of politicking currently adopted by BJP, they are not going to address the real fears of the Indians. So please listen to me.

I JUST WANNA ASK YOU THAT IS THIS BLOG WILL WORK AFTER THE ELECTION
I MEAN TO SAY THAT WILL YOU REPLY TO US OR NOT
I JUST WANNA ASK 1 THING THAT YOU U DON’T CONSTRUCTED THE RAM MANDIR

IF U HAVE A INTREST IN THESE QUESTION THEN TRY TO REPLY THESE QUESTION

Respected Advaniji,
First of all best wishes for your elections.
I would suggest to open some interesting agro-related businesses for farmers as in developed countries as dolphin farming, deer farming and farming of other vegetarian forest birds & animals. The main concept for this is to breed the animals & later sell the young ones to richer families as pet animals.

The advantages of this new breeding business (of animals like dolphin, deer etc) are as follows
1)Breeding of these animals can give huge profits to the farmer itself. Reducing their suicide counts.
2)Also as these animals are in demand in world market, it can increase the foreign exchange for the country through increased exports.
3)Also it will significantly increase the number of forest animals which are on the verge of extinct, thus we can increase the bio-diversity.
4)In this world of stress, these animals work as faithful & interesting companions who can remove the stress in day-to-day life.(This is important for youngsters as it can reduce their suicide mentality).

(Contin)
We can regularise this through government and can supervise their mortalities.
Sir, I honestly suggest this as a part of Governmet policy which according to me will significantly save lives & increase the lifestyles of the rural people.
In this regard the government should provide information of such businesses to farmers & make them available with customers through appointed distributors.

Dear Sir,
No political party talks about e-voting. E-voting is possible. Many middle class people are not going to vote in physical voting system. If Railway tickets can be purchased through internet and bank transactions can be made flawlessly through internet, then why not e-voting.

Respect Advani ji
Its my dream to see you as prime minister of India. Only you are the person who can handle threat of terorrism in better way than any other leader besides you have good thinker like Arun Jaitley ji with you..!!
Here are my two suggestions-
1 BJP MAY NOT BE DEFENSIVE ON KANDHAR ISSUE
I feel that sending Jaswnat Singh to Kandhar was a joint decision taken at all party meet in which Congress also participated now they are saying that BJP freed those terrorists.
2 Respected Advani ji should not support moustaches as it is not a good omen for him , i feel that in case he wants to become PM he must remove his moustaches immediadtely his fortune will change remarkably…!
Regards.

In response to: Kapil Sibal”s “Hamara Bharat sab ka Bharat, unka Bharat adhura Bharat”
I would like to say:
Hamara Bharat Congress Ka bharat hai nahi BJP ka,
Bharat koi Cheez nahi tumhe Adhure Dekhke Bhantne ka,
Ye hamara Dil hai Tumhe samjhane Ka!

The BJP should name a deputy/ vice/ assistant Prime Minister immediately. To play it safe you can mention that this candidate is currently only the BJP’s candidate, yet to get an NDA stamp, unlike Shri L K Advani who is an NDA PM candidate. My person of choice for this post will be Shri Arun Jaitley. He is highly educated, holds a secular, liberal & modern image, new age politician with no negative publicity. If he is not contesting the LS polls, you can field him from Lucknow, with his profile(also Brahmn) and the subsequent incompetence of other party candidates, he will surely retain the prestigious constituency of Shri A B Vajpayee ji. The young generation will like this move very much. At last one very important thing. Coming 25th APRIL 2009, is Shanivaar as well as a no-moon (amabasya) day. Try to arrange for any Yagya/puja for Shanidev and Kaali. Thank you for your precious time, and best of luck for LS 2009 polls.

Dear Mr LK Advani,
I appreciate your approach of new electronic media. But I want to ask you that you are spending so much for just advertising before you establish your government then after establishing the government what will be the case. and more over why you are advertising so much? don’t you have confidence in your ability?? If you are able enough people will vote for you definitely. and you cannot expect the support of all people just by doing many promises. Let us hope for the best and hope a good government will rule in our country….

Pranam Advaniji, I am a die hard follower of BJP. I would want to give a candid feedback about the BJP Website:1)It takes long to open the website. 2) Why should you have a website majorily in English. You should have an option to choose the diverse language. 3) You should allow people to become member of the party or the volunteers by online registration. These people can be utilised to promote our agenda. Secondly, such gesture of free membership allows us to connect to people directly.4)The website should have stats of questions asked in the National Assembly and the answers given by the ministers. 5)Website should be more interactive which should allow visitor to engage themselved with the content or thought. eg. - Best Essay Competition on Why Manmohan Singh is not fit to be prime minister, What has been the key factors for the failure of Congress Governance etc. I hope my feedback would contribute to the victory of BJP in forthcoming Parliament elections.

Dear Advaniji,
BJP is lagging far behind in television advertisement of Congress. We have been viewing hundreds of advertisements of Congress party in many Indian TV channels round the clock.
However, there are few or no advertisements in those popular TV channels and programs. It will be in the best interest of BJP to flood those TV channels and programs with advertisements of BJP as poll has already been started.
It will give BJP a competitive age in the Loksabha election 2009.

Dear Advaniji,
Appreciating your announcement regarding black money in Swiss banks. If implemented that program India will surely beat all nations in GDP growth. That money can be utilized in developing capital intensive infrastructure in India such as joining rivers.
These projects, in turn, eradicate poverty in India, the prime concern.
Thanks Advani Ji.

Respected dear Adwani Ji,
Namaste
The drama in congress style now is well known to the people. they stage drama just at the time of ELECTIONS. Why Barun Gandhi show conscious about poor(s) only at this juncture. Barun’s pitiness and concern about the poor looks like this story – where a small girl asked to write an essay on “A POOR MAN”, she wrote –“ there were a poor man, he was very poor, his driver was also very poor, his servents were also very poor, his gardener was also very poor, they use to eat only brad and butter …….. I mean to say this Barun is just like this girl who really doesn’t know WHAT IS A POOR MAN. After a long rule at least for 50 years by the Congress, there are many a poor(s) who need to be rescued and helped. What the hell congress done in last long ruling over the country.

Respected Sir,
In my last post it requires major correction, I have mistaken in writing the name of Rahul Gandhi as Barun Gandhi. It is due to the recent name and fame of BARUN.
But I intend to focus on the RAHUL GANDHI’s, Drama.
Thank you.

Respected Sri Advani jee,
I am very glad that the burning issues, which were neglected in the first phage are well taken up by you. I had written many a lettes on the subject. I was surprised that why the Manhagai Issue has been given less priority, when the Congress was at the back foot. And the other thing was why you are silent for the allegation about KANDHAR episode.
Now I am very glad that these issues are well taken up. I saw an very good advertisement in Jharkhand on “Manhagai”., and your interview on Kandhhar issue on AAJ TAK. These issues should be given specific attention in future Campaigning .

Sir,
Regarding the criticism that NDA has to free the terrorist is not answered properly.I think , the primary responsibility of a welfare govt. was to save the lives of the 300 odd passengers. Moreover, incident happened in Afghanistan, were Indian govt. was helpless.
April 27th, 2009 at 2:59 pm
Shri Advaniji, Pranam. It gives me immense pleasure to know that you are going to read my views. I am a follower of Swami Vivekananda and Sri Morari Bapu. I love to read the views of Shri Atalji, Shri L.K.Advani, Shiv Khera etc. We call ourselves as the part of a civilized society, where females are regularly raped and tortured, where poor are getting poorer, where education is becoming a luxury, where govt. ministers are hoarding commodities in nexus with the traders to earn more money, where aids are reaching the houses of ministers and govt. officials instead of poor and needy, where terrorists are firing on the civilians and policemen and killing them, where public money is used extensively on the ministers and beaurocrats and poor are dying for the lack of food and medical treatment, where crores can be spent for elections but not for the roads, water, food, education, employment, where a civilian is required to prove himself innocent rather than the judiciary proving him guilty.
April 27th, 2009 at 3:08 pm
We want our fundamental rights to be actually given to us. We want powers to question the ministers and the beaurocrats, and want them to be accountable to the common man. We want a society where police will be for the public and we can fearlessly go to a police-station. We want a society where politics will be considered a profession and politicians will have to be qualified. When a MBA required to run a big company, how can illiterate criminals contest and become ministers of such a big country? Aren’t we playing with the emotions of our ancestors and the freedom fighters who never once thought of enjoying freedom by living as slaves rather than dying as freedom fighters? We want a constitution which can make this happen.

3….I am pretty sad about the present situation where parties are moving away from NDA, NDA people engaged in answering to opposition’s statements in their language etc. I have always felt that the BJP has a different class of people (Shri Atalji, Yourself, Shri Pramod Mahajan, Shri Govindacharya, Shri Arun Jaitley, Shri Shourie, Smt. Swaraj, Shri R.S. Prasad, Shri Nitish Kumar, Shri Rajnath Singh etc. etc.) and they might be in problems but they cannot be wrong. And thankfully, I feel this till today. I closely followed the developments during your tenure as the Home Minister, and have a strong belief that it was the pressure of some people on you which resulted in release of Maulana Masood Azhar and Co.
April 27th, 2009 at 3:13 pm
4…. I also saw the way we were moving forward during that time, and our motherland getting secured and strong, gradually, from all sides and aspects thanks to different initiatives by yourself and your government. It was sad to the deepest of my heart that you could not repeat the term at that time, otherwise the picture today would have been extremely different. We actually need some real Iron Men like you, who have the vision to transform the situation into a healthy one. We need people who have good ideologies, good principles and positive vision. Their ways may be different, but I am sure there goal will always remain to uplift INDIA and its people. As you have created Mr. Narendra Modi, you should create more and more of his likes, and at least give 1 Mr. Narendra Modi to each state of INDIA.
April 27th, 2009 at 3:15 pm
4…. May BJP win or lose today, but it is my strong belief that if principles will remain intact, priorities will be favorable one day, but if principles are compromised with, a day comes when both principles and priorities are gone.
With this I am giving a break to my views and may Lord bless my party (BJP) with smashing majority in the Loksabha elections - 2009, for the betterment of our country and its people.
Pranam.

Respected Advaniji,
In every election the country is observing that the percentage of voting is going down . This is a serious issue. It seems that people have lost faith in our democartic system.
We need to change the way we do voting as of now, make our voting system convinient so that most of people can caste there vote. Is it not possible to do online voting, where people sitting at home can cast there vote from any place in world.
I know every technology comes with a demerit but if successfully implemented will definitely bring true democracy.
Thanks
Ajay

Pranam Advani ji,
I am a staunch believer and follower of BJP and NDA not blindly, but because of there good governance in every state they rule from bihar, gujrat, MP to chattisgarh. i feel there’s no derth of good leaders in NDA unlike Congress which cannot function for a single day without Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka, and in one statement kapil sibal did approve the fact which was highlited by sushil shinde they are all ji huzoors i.e (chaploos), kapilsibal said that its ok being a chaploos, he even added we all some or other time do indulge in these acts, i was shocked to hear that coz, i respect india my motherland a lot i always ask my self what have i done for my mothherland before askin what my mother land has done for me. they have already bowed down to a foreigner and iam not sure where will they take us from here. I strongly feel that we indians have to unite once again for the freedom of india from Congress.

Respected Advani Ji,
Its really a nice initiative. Internet is a strong medium to reach youth and the intellectuals who are a major contributing community to the development of any country. India doesnt really need a youth leader, instead India needs a leader who can guide youth to a right direction and who can make India as a Jagdguru. It is the time when an experienced leader like you should lead India to build a Swabhimani Bharath. All the very best. I pray to god to see my beloved Advani Ji as Prime Minister soon. We will contribute all possible ways to bring BJP into power at center this time. I really feel that this is the right time for youth to come out to street and participate in rallies, road shows and Jana Jagarana Abhiyans for BJP.
