While common people are in dark how to cope with unemployment, under employment, price rise etc, the discerning people like us are helpless seeing the utter helplessness of the opposition to control govt effectively, by strong arguments than mere walk outs and shouts. It would be a sad day for democracy if the opposition is unable to confront the rulers effectively on serious issues.

I am not sure if they may even be trying to tamper with elections in this country..already many political parties have taken a cue from shameless dynastic politics of congress party as a model for electoral success and keeping the party together..although, I am a bit surprised why BJP dint take up Raja tape scandal in a big way !

There has been no comment from you on the issue of inclusion of castes in the census. It is disappointing to note that someone who tried to unite the Hindu faith by Ram mandir movement is completely silent on this poisonous decision. We as BJP supporters are surprised to see that BJP has not come out with a statement on this issue.

All type of misuse done only in congress government. They dont mind doing that and they are not checked and opposed properly. Soon, they will consider CBI as their own institution. This must be stopped but how ? And by whom ?

I think there is a basic difference between the Emergency of 1975-77 and the situation of today. People had overthrown the Congress Government in the Lok Sabha Election of 1977 because they had witnessed and also suffered by the misdeeds of the government during the emergency. Common people suffered along with the political or elite class of the country and faced the atrocities unleased by the Government at that time.

Today the issue of phone tapping or misuse of CBI is definitely a big issue in the national interest but these issues are almost beyond the grasp of the common man who is still too busy earning two square meals a day unless, of course, they are apprised about the same in their own languages. Since democracy is the rule of majority and these people constitute the majority so any movement or change at large scale cannot be expected without their actual participation. So the attempt should be made to win the support of these people who are the main instrument of change.
