Please forgive me for this extremely belated response. Not being a very avid blog reader, I came across your blog for the first time today. I had been meaning since long to somehow communicate with you regarding your Jinnah comment. Please correct me if i am wrong, but i thought you used your visit to Jinnah’s mausoleum to remind the people and rulers of Pakistan of that “historic” but a one-off, all-too-brief “secular moment’ of 11th August 1947 in Pakistan’s history when Jinnah , in a spell of guilt-inspired introspection , spoke as a statesman rather than as the author of the pernicious Two Nation doctrine that had secured political power for himself. You were doubtless aware that his “historic” words were inscribed on the walls of the Pak National assembly,only to be obliterated later during Zia’s reign. I am sure your description of Jinnah in the visitor’s book as a ‘historic personage’ was really meant to refer to that ‘historic’ speech.

Cho is recognized world wide by Tamilians/Indians mostly for his farceur political thoughts and taming of the shrew (leaders).

Sir, to my perception I perceive Shri. Cho is a vivid, fantasy political inventor, his latest contraption count on the function day – “Political Roadmap to New Delhi 2014 Lok Sabha Election” (Tamilnadu (39) Via Gujarat (26) = 65 to New Delhi-544) is 11.95% of the total LS seat strength.

I was a militant supporter of BJP from the day i reached adolescence.
i am btw 30 that means i am voting for the past 12 years and every time i have voted for the BJP.
but my faith has been shaken, with you on the verge of retirement, the party which you co-founded with ABV is compromising with the very principles it was founded on.
And i am not talking about Kushwaha.
I am talking about the new found policy of Muslim Appeasement which the BJP now practice, it stands against the pseudo- secularism which you have been fighting for decades.
Yes i am talking about Salman Rushdie

We are the Homeland of the Hindus, the peaceful race.
Why should we stop him, or even consider the prospect of doing so.

I have with me the people who were the core supporters of the BJP. may be few.

for upcoming elections please showcase the development achieved in Guj / Bihar / MP ….
if possible Nitish Kumar should campaign in eastern UP
we are supporter of BJP and want it to come to power but everytime we are disappointed

In the context of electoral politics, number of seats won by a political party is of prime significance. Today, BJP is the primary opposition party because it has won more seats than any other opposition party and NOT because its the most clean looking party.
Congress fielded the brother of Sajjan Kumar, compensated Jagdish Tytler, Digvijay singh praised Kalmadi, Sanjay Singh (accused in the murder of Syed Modi) is an important member of coterie & there are many criminals in the UP list of Congress. If you look at SP and BSP, there are much worse.

BJP should also be realistic in contemporary politics, and not be a prey to an image. Nitish Kumar had fielded a lot of criminals but still his win has led to a great recovery of Bihar. So, for a long term recovery of BJP in UP and its intention to bring various sections together, please accept Babu Singh Kushwaha as a tactical asset, in a period of transition.
